Hearing this about your hiatus, surprises me, but i think you made a big mistake in staying in Europe for like 5weeks, I must've been on 20+ poker trips for live events, and staying too long somewhere could really be disastrous for a healthy, positive mental state. Personally i think you just had a rough bustout from the EPT, now you're stuck in Portugal for a few more days probably, my advice, go back to troy, or vegas, relax for 24 hrs or whatever, and get back to work this weekend, i always find a nice 5-20k score always brightens up my view on everything. I know we've been getting along last few months, but play for yourself, start keeping the $$ your making 100% for yourself, you've had sick stupid year, kick the backers out, you never needed them, and only play live when you win a package, and only go there for a week or 2 max, ez game, take care later!

Just readong through thread now and wanted to say this is a pretty solid post. Also GL whatever you end up doing SD, ive always enjoyed listening/reading your interveiws and been impressed with how you conduct yourself.

Re: retiring from tourneys
Deeb quitting right at the same time EeeeeeeeTeeeeeeee quits his challenge. Coincidence? Nah. Obviously they're both ZeeJustin aliases and the guy playing all the live tourneys as "Shaun Deeb" is just a huge level. Explains everything.

Re: retiring from tourneys
Man, If it wasnt for guys like shaundeeb for me to look up too, I would never be anywhere close to the player I am today. Seeing you play all those games inspired me to be the player I am today. I know thats not much cause im just a micro grinder. I hope one day to be at the stakes you are at. I know that will take a lot of hard work. You have a fan here shaun. GL with whatever you set out to do. Cant lie though, hope to see you back on the grind. Take sometime off, enjoy life.

You will make the stakes you want to play because of hard work, not from reading 2 plus 2, watching someone else play. There is more than one way to win and it's different for each person!! Deeb won his way, but playing 5k tourneys might not be for you... every1 gets burn out, doesn't mean the game is a big sham and making big moneys isn't worth it... thats all i mean i guess

wat. I was just agreeing with Modi that SFD has been a big inspiration, and I would be happy to accomplish half of what SFD has accomplished.
Oh, and reading 2+2 has got me this far, I don't see why it can't help me reach my goals.
