I run bad on 888, here are my numbers for all sites at the same ~$30 abi since Nov 1 2014. I play almost exclusively 9 handed.:

Ipoker Pre Ante: 190k hands/9.4% Won hand/10.1 evbb/100
Ipoker Post ante: 190k hands/13.4% won/4.75 evbb/100

BCP pre: 29k hands/10.8% won/5.74 evbb/100
BCP post: 49k hands/13.3% won/5.34 evbb/100

Merge pre: 14k hands/10% won/36.4 ev
Merge post: 44k hands/ 13.3% won/11.2 ev

888 pre 110k hands/9.7% won/19.7 evbb/100
888 post 210k hands/11.9% won/3.2 evbb/100

I am of the opinion that 888 has the worst player pool outside of merge, and my preante EV backs that up. Yet for a very long time I have been unable to exploit that pool effectively. I cherry picked Nov 1 2014, because prior to that date my post ante EV on 888 was around 7 over 100k hands. My HUD stats are virtually identical, and I don't believe I play any different there despite my bad run.

My question is for the regs at my limits - do you run worse on 888 than the other sites you play?

888 has got tougher the last year or so. And if your saying you play the same now as you did in November 2014 that could be the reason

Could be worse. You could also run worse @stars compared to anywhere else.

A worse player pool doesn't mean you will auto make more money without adjusting to them. Are you overestimating post-ante fold equity at 888?

I've been playing for a very long time and haven't run like this anywhere else. I'm not an expert on variance or math so I don't know how unlikely this is. It's obviously been a very long time so it's not like I quit the site after my 10th bad beat or something.

I also noticed a lot of regs had bad 2015s - but some didn't. All in all I hope no one else has this issue so I can push it out of my head. But my calculations I'm down something like 4000-8000 post ante BBs and 3000 hands lost during that time period. Seems like a lot.

I understand this, and really I'm just asking if anyone else is having this issue rather than declaring that I'm being cheated. From everyone else's perspective the most likely answer to this is that I do in fact play differently or I'm comparing apples to oranges in terms of stack sizes and ante periods.

My evBB/100 is higher on Stars than it is on 888 over a large sample.

You should also consider that the structure and effective stacks are completely different on 888

some people just cant adjust to antes in play; those adjustments are cat-like: not everyone has them

1. Samplesize of 100k hands is less than you would think.
I had swings of 5bbev during 100k samples on sites without changing fokus etc., while increasing or holding my winrate on other sites. Espacily since 888 plays more on the shallow part for most tournaments it can swing alot.
2. Structure makes evbb/100 lower obv.
3. I think you underestimate the 888 pool. Since they added the croco, whale etc. alot of good mid-highstakes regs joined the site as well as alot of low-midstakes guys because of the big guarantees of Monsoon etc and because stars has gotten tougher. Its sometimes hard to spot them because you dont have alot of traffic with them since you just play a few tournaments with each of them and you dont know the screennames, but its getting more and more.
In my opinion Ipokerpool is way softer as 888 nowadays (maybe not the low gtd highstakes but alot of the other tournaments.)

And also what DoGGz said, mine is higher on Stars as well, playing more lowstakes on Stars but also more Highstakes while 888 are mostly midstakes Tournaments, so hard to compare.

I also ran pretty poorly on 888 in 2015, after amazing years prior to that.

I d say 888 player pool is one of the two reggiest/ toughest out there with the only site I don't know about being ipoker.

Also, 888 is confirmed rigged so there's your answer. I run like AIDS there too
