For a re-entry event is it possible to solely sell your second bullet?

I want 100% of myself for the first entry. If i needed to re-enter i would like to sell the second bullet.

The tournament is £220 entry and £220 for re entries.

If I sold 100% of the second bullet would i have 50% of my total action?

Or am i just being a dumb dolt?

thanks - also had no idea where to post this. Hope youse can help.

The only way it would work is if its an event with multiple starting days and you sell a second/third starting day after you buy the 1st.

Otherwise, investors will likely not be interested. When I buy a share, I wanna know I am buying a share, not I am buying a share if X happens. And also if its a same-day reeentry, your second bullet will not have the same EV as you will be entering late and also possibly tilted after busting the 1st bullet.

Finally, you should be selling somewhere up to 70%. Investors do not like when you put nothing at stake yourself.

Hi thanks for that. re-entries are only aloud on different days. cannot re-enter same day.

Would i have 50% of my action if i did sell 100% of the second bullet.
b/c you can look at it two ways. Its turned into a £440 event or its two £220 events. Its confusing me tbh. Its this thursday so i need to sell soon.

I would imagine if you sold 100% of the second bullet solely you would have 0% of yourself.

Yes. Sell 50% of the second flight if you want to keep half of that one. Just make it clear to whoever you're selling to that you are keeping the first bullet for you.

if I sell 100% of the second flight do I have none of my action? I I rlly dont no how to logicaly look at a re entry tornament. Is it a combinded buy in to make my buy in £440 or is it two completely seperate £220 buy ins? Ty

You should look at re entry tournaments as if they were 2 separate tournaments.

Suppose you bust your first entry and decide to sell your second entry to a friend who will buy 100% of your action at 1.1 mark up. Then your friend will get 100% of the price and your winnings will be the mark up charged.

It's definitely 2 separate tournaments.

In the situation in the OP you would have all of your action in the first entry, any cash is yours to keep. If you bust and re-enter whilst selling 100% of yourself you will have none of your action. You would be forced to give any cash in its entirety to the investors.

BTW I wouldnt recommend anyone to play just to pocket the mark up (i.e. selling 100%). Not good for the investor, not good for the player (you wont play your top game for sure), not good for the spirit of the game (where risking something is def part of it).
