Lots of people who said they weren't gonna play weren't playing anyway. No surprise some regs just posted bs about skipping to try to get Stars to change their minds. No surprise that Stars basically called the bluff and covered the 10M GTD anyway.

The new terms are ridic too. You give the winner a 5k ticket for the next WCOOP ME and for the rest of 8 players a 2k SCOOP ME ticket? 5k + 16k = 21k you just need to add 21k to the prizepool when they reach the final table. Now i suspect you of amateurism.

It's the same with how the Venetian **** was during the summer. Some people were all about the '**** venetian I wont play there etcetc' then half way through summer they're blasting away in them.

There's very few who actually say something n then stick to it when it comes to EV in the poker tournament world.

so what happened with this? much talk about t&c's but we haven't seen anything more about the winner nor the final table yet? Sure marketing etc probably comes Q3 but have interviews been conducted with all ft players and so on?

Yep, quite curios about it too. Couldn't care less about finding out the names of the ppl, but rather hoping to find out that Stars couldn't enforce this and dropped the idea.

I guess SCOOP MEs could be a good indicator, I suppose they were going to apply the same marketing idea on at least the ME-H too.

It's way over the line to ask for it. Anonymity is like one of the main pillars that makes up online poker, and it's unnecessary to ask for it, and it's definitely unfortunate for people that love online poker to not be able to play in the biggest most prestigious tournaments because of the publicity that might ensue should they be the successful.
