Why are people still calling out for Bigger and Hotter labels when its easy to understand that Amaya and Luke dont want to promote vanilla MTTs anymore.. thats not the way their business is going, just look at BB´s gtds vs Bigs/hots and all the work they have done to unbalance the daily schedule towards BBs, bubble rushes, hypers, and thus, moving away from regular MTTs.

The guarantees just follow the preferences of the players. The BB's guarantees started much lower when introduced, but attracted more players thus guarantees increased gradually eventually passing those of the Big's and Hot's. I've never seen Stars set guarantees high to deliberately cause overlay to attract more players to a certain format.

That guarantees are a big factor in which format players choose isn't correct either. Just look at the Bubble Rushes, their guarantees have more than halved compared to other formats (the $22 from 10k to 3k i.e.) because they often had overlay, as apparently players just many don't like the format. High guarantees nor overlay couldn't attract more players to it.

Rec players want to invest little time and make money quickly. BB's with 4000+ runners do not help at all.
Add: 1.1R 30k 3x turbo
9max hypers

and add these please Super K.O >$22, more $8~22 FO

There’s been a change of plans: we will not be sharing the schedule until it launches in the client, which is a few weeks away. Much like SCOOP, we’re working on making the biggest WCOOP we’ve ever run. We welcome everyone to leave general WCOOP related feedback here. If there’s an Event you want to see or changes from last year you think are important, please let us know! We’ll read and consider all of them.

In the meantime, I can share a few details while we begin to prepare the tournaments and finalize the promotional details. First off, the Super Tuesday and Thursday Thrill special editions will be different each week: half price in week one, their normal price but 3-day tournaments in week two, and $2,100 in week three. Also, for the first time ever, we’re going to run a HORSE Phase Event in which Phase 1s from Monday-Friday represent each HORSE letter (Monday as FLHE, Tuesday as FLO8, etc.), with the final Phase 1 and Phase 2 on Saturday being traditional HORSE. There’s some other bigger surprises I can’t share yet which I’m excited for you all to see.

Lastly, the dates are still September 3rd-26th. The Main Event will run on September 24th with a $5,200 buy-in and $10M guaranteed.

Cheers,

Luke

On not sharing - this a huge decrease on your already decreasing community involvement and on customer care. Not sure if you're afraid others will copy your schedule or just want to save time because you're so late, but you're doing it wrong.

On the HORSE thing - you're basically running a tournament in which Phase 2 is another format than phase 1 ?! You're no longer getting an average skill over the different disciplines, but just letting everyone pick their favorite game to get with a bigger stack to day 2. Also about stacks - I might be totally wrong, but won't the avg stacks of players from split pot games day 1s be lower that the others ?

ME - can we at least have it in the client, and run satellites to it already ?

To be honest I don't blame Pstars for not sharing the schedule. For the first time in forever they now have legitimate competition in Big Series MTT's.

The pluses for sharing with 2+2 are really negligible. Yeah some small changes could be made here and there but lets be honest... a lot of events are out of our hands and likely Luke's.

The downside to sharing is Party can see what Stars is doing and intentionally time some of their better events to run on days that Stars is having a weak offering.

The whole point of posting schedule is it gets people excited, people start booking their trips and being committed to the series, oh and the series can be improved/optimised.

At least, if you could try not to invade the schedule with KO formats, especially in Omaha games. Freezout is nice: don't forget it!

And decrease the number of NLO8 (which has been huge recently) in favor of PLO8 and FLO8. NLO8 is nice for turbo tournaments but is a bit nonsense with these structures. And I think, generally, WCOOP players prefer PLO8.

Agree with all of that, making phase 1 difrent game is just stupid and unfair ++1

+1. There are always so many 'flaws' in the schedule. Many obvious tweaks get pointed out that betters the experience for both sides; PS and the players. You guys never get it right even when it's on version ____ (fill in the blank) when it first hits the forum

Hey Luke i was thinking about this stupid phase HORSE idea and i think it can be actually fun and ok if u make this adjustments

-You should have phase 1 HORSE on Saturday and individual game phase 1 of each game Monday - Friday

- phase 1 of invidual games that are fix limit and split pot games should have biger starting and slower lvl vs stack size and lvl of big bet games ( for ex. Stud should be having like 15k-25k starting stacks at 15-20 min lvl vs plo/nl that should have 3k-5k starting stack and shorter lvl 10-15 for obv reasons, same number lvl for each phase)

-THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT => player to be able to qualify in phase 2 HORSE HE MUST PLAY (ENTER) MINIMUM 3 x INDIVIDUAL GAMES phases 1 (all stacks that he get from all individual game phase 1 will accumulate into one stack for phase 2, if player bust from one individual game phase 1 his continuing stack from that phase is 0, for ex player plays 5 individual games phase 1 and his stacks in each is X, Y, Z., 0 (bust) , 0 his stack for phase 2 will be X+Y+Z+0+0) or PLAY HORSE PHASE 1 #moreRakeIsBetter

When this is the solution to make it a fair game then it should be obvious why this format should have been nixed from the get go. Players (recs especially) don't want confusing rules/stipulations.
