I've spent time working at a big company offering online services and know intimately the experience of facing an attack on one's servers and how hard it can be to bring things back to normal.
However it's still a bit incomprehensible to cancel a Big tournament with 20 people left as well as part of the second biggest series of the year. (if you can restore some scoops, why not do so for all and compensate those who can't connect, a major part of players had reconnected about an hour after downtime started and were wondering what what's going on in chats) Perhaps a redeployment of the cancelled scoops somewhere towards the end of this week would be a good idea. Would like to hear your thoughts on this one and whether you plan to add/replay any of the cancelled tournaments. Honestly, even just adding the same formats anew would be cool.
P. S. It sucks to be in the spot which you are currently in, but if you handle things creatively and provide value for the players who had their important tournaments cancelled it would be highly appreciated and viewed as good crisis management, hence good marketing. The alternative is just an ostrich solution to the problem

Hi All, I was affected by the outage last night like a lot of people. I was in the money in 3 tournaments and so was refunded as per Stars policy, including the rake. However, I have a query. One of the games was the $44 progressive bounty tournament. Now whilst Stars have refunded $20 bounty to each player who cashed, which was each players initial bounty, they have not refunded the progressive bounties collected during the game. I would have thought that should have formed part of the payout, unless someone can explain to me why?

i'm assuming the bounties accumulated have already been put into your stars account balance no?

typically when u knock someone out in psko half their bounty goes into your stars balance real time.

Obviously this is not a big deal compared to the events of yesterday, but what exactly is the reasoning behind having H4H start at 24 (satellite with 23 places paid, 19 of those are tickets), END at 22 - and restart again at 21?

He's talking about the other half, that accumulates as your own bounty. What happened to that? It wasn't refunded. So stars just take it?
