The sunday storm next sunday gets a guarantee boost to 300K. Last sunday the prizepool only got to 278K. Instead of boosting the guarantee of all the other 99% mtt's who crush their guarantee, let's boost the one that will get an overlay for sure. What's the angle here?

Also, where are the FT replays?

Spoiler:
Also, where is Luke?

There were more examples like that recently and it obviously worked because people are anticipating more events with bigger gtds like everybody has been saying for years. But yeah, too little too late. Maybe Luke got fired and now someone is cleaning up easiest things.

Isn't 20% a standard mtt payout? Maybe 25% would be doable, but I think those 30/20 payouts in 180man are a bit sick.

//

Storm has to be 300k. If there is any overlay it is just a form of rakeback. It brings players/deposits to the site. I mean what's nicer, 22k overlay in Storm or a 20k all in shootout where you have to play 10 Spin n Gos prior to enter?

playing that kinda ****, as a regular because youre looking for the path of least resistance, is like drinking salt water when youre thirsty. Its like taking fat burners to lose weight. Its like ignoring climate change

Yes that is not my point. It will be nice to have an overlay for the players. Here is my point : a lot of mtt's crush the guarantee every day. But for some unknown reason their guarantee does not get boosted. Ever. I have seen some mtt's that double the guarantee every day. So if Luke doesn't want to boost those, why would he boost the Sunday storm when it hasn't shown any signs of getting a 300K prizepool. He can easily boost a lot of mtt's guarantee without risking any overlay but he doesn't do that and I fail to see the logic.

An MTT paying out 20% of the field is way on the larger side. Imo 10-13% of the field with a 1.9-2.3x mincash is the way to go and keep everyone happy.

I wish the payout structures of the Bounty Builders could be implemented into the regular schedule as they are pretty much perfect.

Example: This afternoon's $4.40 8k Bounty Builder. 2,285 entrants, 279 places paid (12.2% of the field paid). Mincash if we disregard the $2 bounty fee is 2.19x the buyin ($5.27/$2.40).

I don't see why this couldn't be implemented into all tourneys in the daily schedule outside of the special Major events (Sunday Million, Battle Royale, *COOP Mains), which have a lot of satellite winners in the field and a mincash is huge based on their investment.

The "Deep Payouts" tourneys are complete bull****. No one wants to play an $11 3k turbo with 25-30% of the field paid and a minuscule $12 mincash. It's even worse for a $1.10 1k filled with pretty much all recreational players.

Whatever benefits Amaya though right?

I meant 20% for 1st prize dudes.

for example 888 pays out 21.5% for 1st prize in a 22$ mtt at 145-216 players.

The 15$ on demand have a 1.3 mincash and not a 1.06 mincash like the standard 180s and the first prize is 20% and not 30%, like in a standard mtt.

I think slapping a [New Format!] and raising the minimum player count to 36-45 on the 15$ 180s during peak time would increase liquidity

The overall liquidity seems to be much better with the switch, but Im concerned what having 4, 5 or more games in late reg will do to the games

They have now started letting new games spawn soon as one goes off.

I think it's a good idea but may deter people from late regging as much, not sure what overall difference that would make to ROI's, probably none. But at this time of the day so far it just seems to be turning them all to 45-mans, which probably isn't any different from how it was, maybe one $15 180 would be running now and 2-3 45's so...interesting.

Pretty funny actually, it's basically putting the 60-70 odd regs all together in tons of games, probably not so great after all lol

well the volume is insane.

21 games running w 50-70 people while there are only 16 games of 18 man running.or 15x 3.5$ 45man turbo for comparison

Lame so 180s are dead now above $8 buyin and instead we get 50-70 player regfests with $200 up top? exciting stuff
