haha yea I think he's right that the 109r can really only run at peak hours and should get moved but it's just funny that he also wanted to move 11r back to the same time.

There's a real sense of 'everything should be scheduled around the few hours I want to play' in this thread among hs regs. Stars doesn't owe us anything (in regard to what games it runs).

I might be wrong but pretty sure the 11r was an hour or so earlier and a 40k just a couple of years ago post black-Friday. Don't expect it to be a 40k but I do think it would get a better draw. And yes the best tourneys should run around the time that pokerstars hits its peak daily as that only makes sense. The 11 rebuy was a signature tournament for so long with a decent GTD, would like to see it back in the mix as a tourney people get excited to play even if that is only on certain days.

you cant just have every tourney start between 1-2pm est, and have timbey timebombs going on for the rest of the day...the 11r was slowly dying at 4pm est, and the change to 3pm and structure change brought it at least somehwat back to life...the argument everyone is making is that every good tourney should start at their own peak hours..not really valid arguments

as long as Luke keeps increasing it 50k->100k->150k->200k in a fast manner I don't mind. It's a bit annoying that he could set it 200k initially and it would get 250k+ prizepool and would sustain itself easily over the months without any tweaks but he has his own ways of doing things.

Mini kick off more than double gtd atm

It seems silly there was even resistance/worry about this kind of tourn being run outside your promotional period.

Shows there is a huge demand for low stakes big gtd tournaments out there.

Sunday rebuy mini is a must imo

Both of their structures were changed from 15 minute levels to 12. Late registration was also lowered from 180 minutes to 150. The guarantees were set conservatively for the first two weeks. I'm sure they'll be increased in due time.

If your new schedule doesn't turn tuesday into a super tuesday, then it has failed before it has even begun..at least from a high stakes perspective
