Love the idea of regulating the market but am i wrong in thinking that if the entire market is priced at between 1.05-1.25 in high rollers and all players are bought at a similar rate are you not just printing on mark-up?
Absolutely and we think negative markups are one of the strongest services we offer. Many amateurs would like certain tournaments to be higher stakes and we can allow that opportunity either rake free or with a negative markup. If we think someone has a negative ROI we'll happily allow them to increase the stakes at negative MU.
We allow players to request private bets- where it won't appear in public on the website. That way when a Macau Billionaire buys himself for 0.6 he won't have to appear in the mix of all of poker's biggest sharks.
Inevitably PokerShares will bruise some egos but we want to keep that to a minimum so initially very few negative MUs will be published but they will be offered on request.
