When there has been problems in the past (ps.com freezing when massive field mtts starts etc) this has always caused ps.fr to freeze as well. Can someone else who grinds both ps.com and ps.fr confirm that current lag problems are isolated to ps.com?
I confirm.
ps.fr ran fine, ps.com crashed/froze

Re: Please Fix the Lag Stars

Only 11 posts on this page so running that thru the proprietary stars user feedback extrapolation machine I conclude they've fixed the issue. Well done!

Re: Please Fix the Lag Stars

can say that i played <4 tables early on today, for almost 90 mins w/o any lag at all. then i got to the upwards of 10+ and got laglaglag. when i started winding down, and got back down to 3-4 tables, i notices that the lag was alot less, almost gone. Still dont know if this is simply because there were alot more people on during peak euro hours, rather than later hours, or if it is something to do with the amount of tables being played.

Re: Please Fix the Lag Stars

Are they ****ing serious when they say that the vast majority etc etc aren't reporting any problems.

What do you expect when the vast majority of players are recreational players/don't speak English etc.

Re: Please Fix the Lag Stars

yeah yesterday was v tilting...

as others pointed out lags seem to corelate w numbers of tables and starting times of new tournaments.

and just as we speak the cap on the micromillions #1 has been bumped to 100k

inb4 i take 2 weeks off coz i cant stand it anymore
inb4 lag overkill

Re: Please Fix the Lag Stars

Im playing from Belgium, and every single sunday, usually an hour after the warmup starts, I experience horrible lag and frequent disconnections. I have two computers and two different ISPs. I have problems with every single combination of PCs and ISPs, with no other programs running. Oh ya, problems usually start when two tournaments begin simultaneously. Sometimes, its just one table thats frozen while the others work fine.

Needless to say, Im fkn tilted and contemplating withdrawing my entire roll. How much time do I need to waste (on phone with ISP support, searching through tournament audits for effected tournaments, and dealing with stars' illiterate support).

Re: Please Fix the Lag Stars

yeah i had the same, .com lags and crashes with like 5 games open, .fr fine with 2,
all around the time when the milly started.

to boot, .fr never lags, just .com.

just seems weird, especially when my net surfing is fine
(i do this to test my connection, if i dc from stars, before i twiddle with the comp)

fix it stars!!
