Don't know if it helps locating the problem but few times on sunday when lag appeared I noticed that while all regular tourneys were freezed all satellites were running.

Server restart tomorrow apparently, hopefully this will cure the lag problems.

To be honest, I'm very surprised the community is so quiet on this issue. We are setting a very dangerous precedent that Stars can provide an inferior service that negatively affects our EV, lie to us about it, and then completely get away with it. This is standard monopoly behaviour and it is very concerning that the community is relatively quiet about this issue, imo it is one of the most important issues in online poker atm. With no FTP, and if we let them get away with this behaviour, things are going to get much worse in the future with regards to the quality of service provided by Pokerstars.

i experienced big LAG for the first time last night at :44 and didnt even play on stars, just watched tables. my computer started moving extremely slowly and i started to close applications to see what was the problem and until i closed the stars client the computer didnt unfroze.

I've definitely noticed lag the past few weeks, but for me it hasn't been too severe. I notice it usually on the :30 during peak hours obv and lags for roughly 10-15 seconds. Very annoying, but still manageable.

PLEASE FIX STARS! I can only imagine it will get worse the MM around the corner.

Sick server restart chaps, lag is more noticeable today than ever before for me and I am running no anti virus etc.

Bryan has handled this well in his last few posts.
He acknowledged that there clearly is a problem on their site and that appropriate action is being taken. He's neither lying to you or anybody else nor is he "getting away with it" (lol).
You appear to think that there is a big button attached to the Pokerstars server that simply needs to be pressed to end the lag, but Bryan is refusing to press it. It doesn't seem like you understand that Stars is already losing a lot of money resulting from this issue and will obviously put a lot of effort into resolving this as fast as possible.

From your perspective, what would be the right thing to do for Stars now?
Please come up with something realistic that will solve this problem long-term and not with something about being refunded 3 weeks worth of rake.
