Party Poker feedback thread???

I was hoping the Bwin player pool was going to be merged with the Party one soon as the ongame fields have dropped more than most sites. This would create some bigger fields on Party and maybe push them to add a few more MTT offerings. But seeing as the buyer they had lined up to buy ongame has pulled out, I don't imagine this will happen any time soon as I reckon they would only remove Bwin from ongame once a sale is completed.

I completely agree with everything said, but this seriously tilts the sh*t out of me. Especially in speed/turbo mtt's.

Below i did requested on 2010/08/25

Feature request

1. The player search that is still not working properly. On most of the poker sites it is possible to find a player regardless on which type of table he is playing. On Party Poker it is only possible to find a player when he is playing on a cash table or on a sit and go table. In all other cases you cannot find a player. The adjustment of the player search in the tournament lobby was a good start but still there is no overall player search. When I look at the player searches for instance at Full Tilt or Poker Stars you can search in the main lobby for a player, and regardless of which type of poker game that someone is playing you are able to find that person. A lot of my friends are playing on Partypoker and I can’t find them without asking them what they are doing. You can’t even find the Partypoker Pro’s. This is one of the most annoying things from party poker.

2. If you get eliminated out of a tournament it is not possible to say anything anymore in the chat. I would like to see it possible that, once you have paid the buy in for the tournament, you can still enter messages in the tournament chat.

3. Observer message is disabled. Enable this en lets the player choose if they want to see observer message or not.

4. If you resize the table to small the chat in the chatbox is hardly to read. Please add customize size for lettertype.

5. The replayer is a nice new feature. But it still can be improved. The replayer is not resizable and if you open the replayer you have to start the hand playing the hand from the beginning. It would be better to show the finale hand. This way you can see in a glitch what the final hand is and start replaying the hand from the beginning. At a showdown you can’t see the mucked cards in the replayer but you can see it in the handhistory so why not show the mucked cards in the replayer. Also as an observer you can’t replay the hand. It would great if you can replay the hand as observer.

6. Please add an option in the selection window of the table to hide the message: Player1 had rebuyed from 0 to 6000 chips. Let the players choose if they want to hide or see this message in the rebuy period. When its hide the chat is easier to follow. Now when you talk to someone the message goes out off screen because off the dealer rebuys message. You still get some dealer messages when you have selected “Dealer silent with chat”

7. Please add an auto add-on button for after the rebuy period.

8. Add a feature to the software to request particular tournament and sit en go summaries through email for importing it in Holdem manager or pokertracker.

9. And for now last but not least. It would be great if you can see in a much easier way the change log after an update. Maybe via a popup banner or link in the main lobby that opens a popup. This way all players can see what new features Partypoker has implemented in the last update. I looked at the site for the change log but it’s not easy to find and not always available.

10. When a reseat happens in a tournament the tournament lobby pops up. This is very annoying if you are multitabling. Please fix this.

11. When a player is all in the chat is disabled. This is good but if you type something while a player is allin you have to type it all over again. In a speed tournament this is very annoying because many times a player is all in and you lose all you typed text.

As you all can see not one thing is adjusted and we are almost two years later. Shame on you PartyPoker.

Anyone have a problem with automatical popping-up of tables (tournament windows) in case of preliminary registration?

Earlier "it was enough" to restart the application once (though I`ve written to support and they have answered smth irrelevant, but that wasn`t a concern at that time), but this doesn`t works anymore.

So, recently I`ve written them once again, sending more detailed enquiry.

If you have this issue, have you contacted PP_support?
Got any good solutions?

Had a few instances where i had regged and the tourney starting table never popped

Also a few times no matter what i tried I couldn't get the main lobby to come up. Yes I know that makes me sound like a gimp but its happened more than once

Yeah I get this problem too.

Not read all of the problems ITT but one I have is randomly sometimes when I hit 'Tournament Info' the client closes down.

Also my skin sometimes changes out of nowhere when deep e.g last two tables it will change from the black theme to the green one.

Yup, I have the same affair. It seems it`s interaction problems of party client and Windows 7. (bc I don`t have this issue before I installed W7).

You found "the solution", right?

Mac user.

Couple bugs i have noticed.

-Tables not appearing when tournament starts. (I have been keeping all my lobbys open and if this happens just searching for myself within the lobby. Still annoying though)

-Rebuy notifier sticks. Its a green popup on a mac, and says "you have rebought 2000chips for x$. The popup won't disappear.

-Tables disappearing during play. (sometimes comeback when action is on you, sometimes not)

-Program randomly restarting. Resizes tables and forgets where they were.

Non of these are costing me money, but adds a lot of clutter with numerous lobbys open in my dock. Cheers

Party table notoriously don't pop up. It seems to be a recurring update issue, or something. There's periods where it's bad (I had ~50% of my tournys not pop up today) and then it'll be mostly okay again.

Players have been raising these issues for a long time. For example I and others have complained about the fact that sometimes tourney windows fail to open (and we get blinded down) since at least 4 years ago. The response was basically the same then: "we are working on it".

Please explain why, over several years, you have not actually sorted these issues out, especially something as basic and important as tourney screens opening????

btw, +1 to the points raised, especially these really easy to fix ones:

- remove MTT reminder crap (or at least allow a player option to disable it)
- stop the tilting diconnect warnings (or make them no more than hourly)
- don't skip the tourney break in the first hour (isn't it obvious that this defeats the object of synchronised breaks??)
- include auto add-on
- stop the annoying hand-for-hand on every pay jump
- Don't pop-up the tourney lobby every time there is a re-seat

However I am not holding my breath. Party have known about these issues for a long time and have chosen to invest zip in doing anything about them.
