I agree with changing the starting times. Also all the events shouldnt start at once, there should be atleast a little spread. Never liked this on this series.

WOW WHAT THE ****. I wake up and am ready to get prepared for Day 2 of the €1k and it says I have been frozen due to a security check and that I haven't sent in the documents required. Alright so first of all I know of this procedure and have had my earlier account locked (winamax representitive then told me to create a new one). I did so and since then I have been enjoying the winamax series with no problems and everytime I logon to the account it says u have until the 8th of Febuary to send in the required documents or your account will be closed. I have learned from last time so will obviously not **** that up again, but WHY AM I GETTING LOCKED TODAY RIGHT BEFORE ****ING DAY 2 STARTS. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW? NO ONE IS ANSWERING MY EMAILS AND WOW THIS **** IS ****ED UP SERIOUSLY....

They were very quick with accepting the documents for me so just take a screenshot of your online bank showing IBAN/SWIFT and photo of ID.

Hi 2012,

According to our terms and conditions, our security team reserves the right to perform random security checks on any account which has not completed the identity check.

We appreciate that the timing isn't great for you but this has not been done with any prejudice towards you.

It is also unfortunate that at this time support have a very large amount of emails to deal with due to the Series and I can assure you that they are doing their best to reply to everyone as quickly as possible.

If you tell me your table name (PM me if you want) I will check with support asap to see if we can't sort this out quickly for you.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I missed your reply in the middle of all the posts.

All suggestions like this are taken into consideration, however at this time I can't give you an answer as to whether this will be implemented or not as it isn't my decision.

Please explain to me what this means and why the **** my account is still frozen after I sent all the docouments? This is outrageous and if they close my account without letting me finish the tournament this is scamming no?

I really do hope they aren't closing my account cause I made a very honest TYPO MAYBE, I cannot remember cause I have no access to my account so if I stated for some reason that I'm born in Hong Kong, which is in Finland it's pretty obvious that I just misstyped and that I am born in Hong Kong, but now live in Finland. This cannot be happening.

I mean fine, every site has their own way of dealing with their players, but surely they must let me PLAY THE TOURNAMENT DOWN BEFORE THEY TAKE ACTION. THE ONLY REASON THEY ARE DOING THIS IS BECAUSE I MADE A TYPO WITH THE PLACE I WAS BORN. SERIOUSLY COME ON!!!!!

WINAMAX DAVE, since you do not reply to PM's please give me your managers email, phone number or whatever to get in contact with so I have even the slighest of chance to solve this before I start blinding out.

Its obvious that Hong-Kong is not in Finland i got no clue what they were thinking.

So sick to be day2 in a 1000€ event and get locked for such bull****.
They should at least let u finish the mtt.

Funniest part of this whole story is that they emailed me 12:26 my time, which obviously means after playing this MTT till 3 in the morning and having lots of other MTT's up till even later, I'll be sleeping till late in the afternoon, which gives me 3-4 hours maximum to solve the case. This is assuming that I turn the PC on right away when I get up and read my emails. I could've logged on to my winamax account like I would usually do 10 minutes before play and realise I'm locked, how nice would that be! So if you think about it's pretty ****ing ****ed up and then on top of that , when you're trying your hardest to solve the case, get a phone number or anything really to get this mess solved they don't reply... gonna be fun to watch myself blind out

Glad to see people agreeing with me on this... Uhm I've now facebooked, had a friend tweet your winamax team, wrote on this thread, PM'd dave and emailed your support team about 20 times. And the thing that makes me the most angry is that winamax support team are completely dodging my questions. I asked what will happen to my tournament, I asked if I can play the tournament down and I also asked what will happen if I cannot play it. All I got in repsonse was the email I posted in here and this email, which I got earlier.

I don't understand how this site lets me deposit lots of money onto it, then when I am deep in a tournament with lots of equity without hardly any notice just closes my account and after that doesn't give me and explanation of what will happen to the money I invested. I paid €1000 + your expensive rake and in return I get emails that make no sense what so ever and no real reponse. Nice way to treat your customers! This 2+2 thread will surely be giving you more players with all the ****ing stuns you've pulled off so far.

Sick. I've heard about security checks during 2+ days tourneys but as I understand at least in Stars.fr they've never been handled like this. Insane.

Makes it much easier decision whether or not to open account in Winamax.fr. So no it is.
