So out of the blue I get an e-mail saying they have closed my winamax account due to changing Czech Republic regulations. I made day 2 of the winamax major on sunday which is played out on tuesday (tomorrow) and my account has been closed. What will happen to my day2 stack? Will I just get blinded out?? A++ for communication!

Same deal here WRT czech bank account but I currently live in brazil. Am I just out of luck until I can get back to europe and open some other account in a legal country?

Anyways, does anyone have some telephone number or something? I need to change my address also due to Czech rep. regulation and need that ASAP. But after 3 emails and couple days still no response. I'm also interested to see if Czech bank account can work without Czech address.

Got same problem here. The big issue is not much the changes in the Czech regulation, but the fact they can't be bother to reply. Blocking all of a sudden, with such small timeframe for players to make changes AND not reply to people requests is just wrong.

As far as address and bank account connection, they specify in their terms and conditions that any bank account "established in one of the European Union member states or in a country belonging to the European Economic Area" is valid. There's no mention regarding the need to have an european address as well.

yea, interested in basically updating my address and keeping my czech account as well. Was really weird in the email they sent that they said IP address I've been playing from was from CZ. I was there for a couple weeks and have been in 10 countries since. If I or anyone gets a response from them, please update here and will do same. So far 2 days and no response

They unblocked my account in time for me to play the day 2 so that was nice of them at least. Seems like they realized their mistake after 6 e-mails and 2 tweets. Didn't get an e-mailed response but they did reply to my tweet so there's that.

I have heard that people with a czech bank account and non-czech location haven't had their accounts locked. Maybe they're just running good for now. I am wondering if it's possible to keep the czech bank account and move to a country where we're allowed to play on winamax. Or if we need to move to a different european country and restart the whole process all over again.

Yes, been playing in Thailand with Thai address and Czech bank account without any problems.
If I understand correctly You can put address from anywhere in world and play if country isn`t blocked.
Before I had EU address and other EU bank account but that country was banned due to regulations and made trip to Czech in summer.

Before when my country was blocked it was pretty random, some account where blocked with 3 to 4 week difference so I am not too hopeful that I haven`t received that e-mail yet.
Will need to make new trip to EU probably.

Just wanted to say that Winamax Support told me they don't accept players located in Cyprus and banks in Cyprus are also not accepted. I'm mentioning this just in case someone was interested in opening a bank account in Cyprus.

Not sure on the difficulty for non resident/non EU citizens in opening bank accounts but France seems a safe bet

Just noticed you want to open a bank account online. Pretty sure you will hit a dead end trying this as banks need to see you in person and check your ID in my experience.

Chezh gaming licence is starting from 1 january 2017. 30 december is a working day in a france and in a chezh republic. They must withdraw all our money to bank accounts.

I have previously opened a bank account with a german bank where that verification process was done via video call, and it took like 5 minutes... I never went anywhere to do it, and I don't life in germany as well. Bank in questions only takes customers from certain countrys though so I'm not going into detail as it would be of no practical use itt... Just wanted to say that this verfication can be done online, not sure which banks do offer it yet though... I guess you could find some though...

Have heard about this its a new venture and looks to be only open to EU residents and is a online only bank. Any sort of traditional bank will require a visit to a branch to open.

Hey guys im not 100% but i think once you have account with them already you can give your address/bank account where ever you live unless its illegal to play from there. This EU address/bank account is for new account only imo. again don't blame me but worth trying.... won't go to detail but I know few people doing this..

This is what really concerns us the most in this situation I guess, given how short of a time they gave us to sort this situation out. Seems like the customer support wasn't able to reply me to this question.

When they closed accounts in Latvia first they asked for skrill because they could not send to banks (at least they said it) but in the end they sent money to my Latvian bank account (not 100% sure about all other players).
