I don't think you need to code new functionality. Having these capped tournaments in the main MTT tab is Nirvana compared to every other site where this kind of smaller tournaments have the problems of a) people not signing up when they don't know the starting time, and b) the tournaments being hidden along with STTs because they both have the same start-time algorithm and somebody decided that was a really important consideration.
Good to hear Let us know how you experienced them and good luck tonight!

Hi guys,

Just to let you know, I am going to increase the guarantees of the following events by Friday:

gl with the grind!
12-09-2015 , 02:35 PM
Glad to see the increases. Could be just me but I think guarantees of 175, 225 and 275 don't have as good an impact as 200, 250 or 300.

I only managed to get one in but the structure seemed to be working fine.

Good timing, it is officially announced today and the website will be updated soon accordingly.

"Unibet Open’s Return to London Hosted March 3-6

Unibet Open’s highly anticipated return to London has been moved to March 3-6, in order for the event to fit into the schedules of players from all over Europe. The Unibet Open prioritizes player experience, and we’re putting on a great slate of tournaments, parties and exclusive events for our qualifiers.

The Unibet Open will be hosted at the Grosvenor Casino in London, better known as ‘The Vic”. This historic poker room in the heart of London will be the scene for the fifth London event, and the first since Iaron Lightbourne won in 2014 for £70,000.

In 2014 this event drew a crowd of 399 players, eclipsing its £250,000 guarantee by a wide margin, and the 2016 edition of this event is looking to be another very successful one. Unibet Open London will not only feature poker action, but also a Casino Challenge, a Slots Championship and a Live Betting Championship all hosted at the Vic. "

Thanks, it looks like the 18 mans are a bit more appealing to the majority.

Oh I forgot last time, just give the extra chip in a split pot to the player closest to the button. The 17283.50 stacks are a nuisance to read and half a chip is irrelevant.

I'm happy to see the UO London doesn't overlap with WPT Brussels anymore.

I like the satellite structure for the new major on sunday, I think this could be also applied on the Saturday Stack tourney as well.

Something like: 1->5->25->100 and 2->10->100

Also the PSKO are nice, probably need some time for players to get used to those new variants.

The new lobby looks okish but maybe you can use some smaller fonts so you have a better overview.

And can I get a full MTT schedule somewhere?

I tried to open an account on your site but I don't have the option to select Austria as my home country. Am I missing something or are you not taking players from Austria?

^ That's something the main (whole-site-sportsbook etc) support people usually know more about than the poker-specific people.

BTW there is also a Unibet thread in Internet Poker where people ask questions not relating specifically to MTTs.

That is something we as a team would like to change also. I will chase this one.

We are going to improve qualifiers for the Saturday Stack soon and because this was the first release of the new tournament lobby we will make improvements when there are new product releases. Thank you for your feedback and you can find the schedule here: https://goo.gl/739gpL

For these kind of questions, it is best to contact support indeed. They are most up to date on these matters and for non-MTT related things it is best to go to our Unibet - Official Thread http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...hread-1452899/

Played my first 18 man cap and it was fun, I think the 4 min blinds are perfect. To get the 4e and some 10e+ running, I think you need to launch them sooner than 6 players. I guess setting up the prizes is the tricky part in that though.

Cheers

That is a bit the problem, minimum requirements & setting up the prizes. But for now this is just a test
12-13-2015 , 05:26 AM
After a couple of hours playing I can't see the tourney lobbies anymore, same for the overall schedule. It just goes black and I have to restart the client.

Maybe the pay jumps at the final tables could be a bit bigger. In most tournaments 6 -> 5, 5 -> 4 and 4 -> 3 jumps are exactly the same. Now it's really top heavy on first and second place but recreational players get way more 4/5 than 1/2.
12-13-2015 , 08:59 AM
Well I can't edit my post but I meant that maybe less people could get in the money so the pay jumps would be bigger.

Main thing is, rather than cancelling the tournament if it has too few entrants, start time should be moved back instead or the registrations transferred into the next cap tournament if that's easier.

It would also help if the filter defaulted to things you can register in so they would be on the front page longer.

Maybe I am missing something but if you do this what is the point in the timer?
12-15-2015 , 06:39 AM
^ Well, it's still mostly going to start on time, as long as there are six players. You could equally use the same argument against cancelling it (why say it'll start at a time if you then cancel it?).

The real thing is, if someone has regged for an 18 man the assumption should still be that they want to play one, so moving their registration in to the following slot makes more sense than assuming "well, now they clearly won't want to play".

We are looking into these matters at the moment and probably will have different models going forward. Thanks for your feedback

Canceling tournaments is not optimal for these kind of formats, but at the moment the only way to run them. I agree it would be nice if the tournament gets a fresh time period to start, after the minimum requirement isn't met. Better than cancelling and producing a new tournament.

By tomorrow there are some changes in the Saturday Stack qualifiers.
There are two daily routes as mentioned in the quoted post above.
Then there are extra qualifiers on the Saturday.

The schedule looks perfect UninetRep!

I really liked the pay out structure of the Sunday Entitled, it was something like:

1) 1300
2) 1000
3) 680
4) 460
5) 320
6) 200

Maybe second can be a little bit less and more for first but besides that I think it's all right.

Just to let you know, the following things has been fixed with the new release:

1. When you register to a tournament that is already running, you should get a confirmation box.
2. Bug where you had to click on a tournament in order to force the update of the number of players.
3. When you don’t have tickets or viewed tournaments, the top end shouldn’t be visible (and we should show more tournaments as a result).
4. Completed tournaments are not showing anymore. They should (depending on BO templates setup) at the bottom of the list, in red, with “completed” in date column.
5. Closed registration (when tournament is running) tournaments should be in red.
6. Closed registration when tournament hasn’t started should be in yellow.
7. Players remaining should show the number of total players as well (e.g. 8/32)
