- Change Bullets to 2k starting chips.
I get the idea that they're supposed to be fast but starting with 75bb seems silly. If it's going to add an hour on to playing time then just shorten the rebuy period or chop a minute off the levels.
- Change the weekend afternoon schedule.
I have no idea what the numbers are like on a Sat/Sun afternoon but the schedule is pretty grim unless you want to play €1-2 MTTs. Doesn't really matter what the games are just some different buy in levels. There is a period between about 12PM and 3PM where there is a single €4 (12:00 which is 3x multibuy with 1k starting chips, and has a €12 re-entry option?) and 2x €10 (one being an Ante MTT which has always been a strange format to me). I would think on a Sunday at least there could be some more tourneys in at these levels and possibly a €25.
- Have the sats pay out less but give out bigger tickets for the same qualifying tree.
Currently the sats can pay out, using the €10 SE as an example, 1x Sunday Entitled ticket and 8x €10 rebates. I think it would be better if this became 3x 25 SE sat tickets as they can then be used straight away in the €25 LC or in a regular sats. People would complain if the min cash in a normal MTT was your buy-in back so I'm doing it for the sats
- Rename the €4 Early Bounty
It's at 7PM UK time, that's not early
It's also after the €4 Bounty Deepstack so it's not even the first bounty of the evening.
Unrelated to the schedule specifically there are two thoughts that have been discussed in the Twitch streams :-
- Possibility of changing UO qualifying tree to 1/4/20/100/500/2.5k package (Or some similar numbers for steps)
The change to a 2.5k package (adding extra expenses) would make it easier for players trying to get to UOs from awkward travel spots and also help players cover flights/dinner for their guest. It also keeps the number of players qualifying at each level in the 1 in 4 or 5 range instead of the big final jump just now.
This can also then have a 1 in 7/8 turbo path something along 1/7/50/325/2.5k.
- Possibility of changing regular MTT buy in levels to allow for shallower jumps in stake.
1/2/4/8/16/32/64 or 1/3/5/8/15/30/55 for example. It's maybe not as much of a problem at the lowest levels but the lack of levels between 10-50 makes for a sharp jump in stakes if you're trying to follow BRM. It also limits the ability to run Sunday majors for example when you only have a few levels to run them at. A €32 Sunday major with an €8 or €4 sat would be something I would be likely to play.
Anyway, just some ideas to get people's creative juices going. It would be a massive ballache changing all the existing tickets and redesigning the bonus shop etc. but I think it's something to consider going forward in order to create a meatier MTT schedule.
