Certainly. I'll take a look at how it's done over the last month or so, and if it's been performing at a sustainable level which will support a specific guarantee, I'll be happy to apply one to it. Thank you for the suggestion.

You say that if a tournament will support a big gtd, it will get there by itself. Ok cool, but this already happened, tournaments grew big @ PS in the past years after black friday, you were always smashing the gtds making huge profits. BUT the second you have to pay a little money out of your pocket, you lower the gtds, which is not fair and is not helping anybody.
We don't lower guarantees after only a few instances of overlay. We lower guarantees on tournaments which are consistently underperforming. At times, instead of lowering the guarantee, we take other action such as changing the broadcasts (announcements), increasing satellites, etc. We don't just slash guarantees every time a tournament loses a single buy-in.

another good example is the daily 320 6max. this mtt struggles as a tourney on the schedule because of its gtd. it makes the rec player stay away so its a regfest and i know everyone on my table. if this tournament had a good gtd on it and was a red color or a cute name, people would flock to it. this is a perfect example of a tournament that could be good but you guys are intentionally killing its potential without even realizing it.
In the case of the Big $75, the guarantee played a part. Having said that, the much bigger part was played by folding the tournament into the "Big" umbrella brand, painting it bold red and putting it in Tourney/Special. The same would apply to the $320 6-Max. That tournament isn't where it is because of its guarantee. It's doing quite well, sustainably. Raising the guarantee on it would not have nearly the impact on it that painting it red would have, but we can't throw a brand on everything... doing so would dilute the value of branding overall.
As for eliminating the word "overlay" from the poker vocabulary on PokerStars (a point you made later in your post), if only that were true... but believe me when I tell you that it is far, far from true. You may not see the instances of overlay which hit all over the schedule, but they are certainly there.

There's actually one which has been in the *very* early discussion stage not long ago (before holidays). I don't expect that it will hit the schedule anytime soon (e.g. definitely not before TCOOP is over), but it's been discussed and will continue to be discussed.

This is a seriously interesting idea. I'm not promising anything, but it's very, very interesting...

I'll take a look at this one tomorrow and see what improvements can be made. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
