Of course there's an ICM effect, just a bit less pronounced. There are different situations where you might prefer to be on the 3 or 4 handed table respectively and so I'm still not seeing why this is seen as such a big problem.

Well, I dont see luck of the draw 7handed as a factor that should determine your EV this drastically, I think when possible, the conditions should be as balanced and fair as possible

I dont agree with this analogy, its more like if RNG randomly decided if you get 2 or 3 cards.

Im having serious issues with the latest few updates. Ever since the update where the shiny final tables and payout structures pre late reg were implemented it has completely transformed my computer.

If i have more than 4 tables up individual tables start to freeze. When cards are dealt, it freezes, when I make an action at a table I get a freeze. These freezes are quite minute, each one lasts maybe 3-5 seconds but if i have more than 8 tables up (i normally like to play 8-12) it is completely unusable.

I have everything else on my computer off. No skype/aim/itunes/spotify etc just my tracker and stars.

Before the recent updates I used to have all of the above running whenever I played and my computer handled it smooth and without a hitch.

Its a sony vaio allin one with an additional screen and is only a year or so old.

Anybody else having a similar set of problems?

Not really. Seat draws have pretty much always been a part of tournament poker.

Rush tournaments randomly reseated you, I guess you think we should have that for every tournament?

Nope, I just think there is a difference in the impact it has. Getting a bad table draw 7handed - standard associated with MTTs and poker. Getting a bad table draw 3handed while other table is 4handed - unfair and unnecessary.

1- probably very low priority for software devs

2 - Player buys in 6 max, stars has to deliver 6 max

3- I have the other table up and observing their play. Advahtage when it goes to FT

4 - collusion is rare since everyone will adjust accordingly to the short stack if they are real shallow.

5 - "unfair and unnecessary" is joining a tourney late reg and being put in BB with 10bb. Fold, hand is over and being moved to a new table in BB position again. Would like to see that fixed first.

Dont think that can happen, they move you based on when you have played the BB last and you cant get it twice in a row. Maybe im wrong but in the 5000+ MTTs ive played thats never happened and i dont think it can

still would like to see them put the saturday 320 and the daily 100r in red. Also need to market the nightly's better!!!! And why is there no major tournament on wednesday or monday at good euro time? There is a big hole in mtter's schedule. How about a 500 or something on monday or wednesday?
