I believe what would normally happen according to their ToS is the entire prizepool(100k) would be distributed to the players remaining according to their standard formula(50% distributed evenly and other 50% paid according to ICM and player stack size)

They're doing it this way so they can dodge paying out the full 100K, is that fair? IDK... clearly is best for their self interest though. Obviously the word "guarantee" means different things to different people.

Umm 20 min blinds and starting time of 23:30 EET. Late reg stops at 4 AM. Sounds like an Iron Man challenge in form of poker tournament to play it now.

Still need to play those 4 tournaments, so maybe I late reg it if it has overlay. With 448 players already doesn't look likely.

Why can't I Opt in to do the Mission today for the four $109 tournaments to get the $530 ticket. First day I've played this week, will play Saturday and Sunday. Apparently the ability to opt in to the mission has been removed and it is not there. For what reason? There is no reason at all for it not to be there. I didn't even know missions existed or I had to opt in for the promotion but I want to do it now, why can't I?

I have management for a response regarding this - however, for now as the tournament was restarted and players who were still in play refunded the $109 cash there will be no ICM
However - please bear with me until I can confirm 100% I do understand your frustration

I apologize this was poorly communicated and I have raised this with the relevant team for review - we always planned to end the mission 4 days prior to the end of week 3

Opt in ended on the 8th
If you opted in prior to this when it was available your mission will still be active
However - the system has removed the mission in full - even for active players which means the progress is unavailable
You can check your transaction history to check the number events played
Once you complete requirements the ticket will be awarded

The extra 5 minutes blinds add 2hrs to the tournament in the case of the $109 Powerfests

Agreed. These mtts are just going on far too long for a 1 day event.

I think it really makes sense to play down to a final table and then postpone the final table for the following day, for all the daily majors with 15 min + levels as well as pokerfest.

You could make more of a spectacle of the final tables too by advertising them in the lobby and it would allow those players who made the FT to go to bed at a more reasonable time, excited for the day ahead rather than drained and tilted.

The Ipoker Sunday Major plays down until 1am (GMT) and then resumes at 8pm the following day. I always play this on a Sunday as I know that I wont be up till 5am 1 tabling it.
