party is going downhill and fast, less different tourneys, to few 5,10,1,2,20 tourneys.....overflow of rebuys and turbos.....just better to play elsewhere, with exception of few sunday tourneys , or will there even be party poker in the future, if they don't come up with meanigfull changes and stop dividing player pools and canceling tourneys ther is no future for sure.

Saturday-Shedule is the worst, every weekday is even better.
Bring back the regular rebuys and dont make them freezeouts on saturdays. Bring a real Major on a sunday and not several Majors which are all bad. One 50r with 20k and 109 1RE with 25k

What you`re saying is there is no tourney will decent gtd on saturday.... well, yeah and another good rebuy tourney wouldn`t be bad either but I don`t think current offering w/o it can ever be called "the worst" and whilst I don`t mind increasing GTD of one of saturdays majors I defenitely don`t want it to be done at the expense of current offering -- I actually like to have vanilla 109 since there`re 200fo and 350 re-entry as well (for those who don`t like it).
GTDs is a different issue and I agree with you.

yeah, sunday is completly fine besides that the 500 should be a 1k and the 500 should be on a tuesday with a decent PP(but thats a different story). i only meant saturdays, which offer not a single nice 100$ buy with a decent PP.

what happened with the prizes since the hud ban? increased or decreased?

huds wont be banned. none of the changes have occured yet and most likely wont until after nov 8th. or possibly tommorow

Hi all,

Following our announcement on 1st October we have today introduced the first phase of changes which are set to level the level the playing field and create a fairer environment for our poker players.

As promised, from today two major changes come into effect:

1. Players wishing to wait for a cash game will join the room-wide waiting list and be randomly seated when a seat that matches their preference becomes available
2. Players joining a cash game will see the names of their opponents only once their first hand is dealt

These changes will help to limit the use of third-party online poker tracking software including HUDs and seating scripts whilst improving the poker ecology for all poker players.

The second phase of changes is to be introduced in the coming weeks - this will mean that hand histories will no longer be available for download but will be viewable only from within the partypoker software.

Im cool with everything except this because some of my study time is when I dont have internet (ie. Traveling, lunch break, etc). Thanks for capping us recs and allowing us to improve. GG

You really think this minor inconvenience outweighs all the positives?

1) Please fix the table sizes so it's not way bigger than the other sites. It's also hard to see the numbers/letters despite being so big. It used to not be a problem. I somewhat recently switched to Mac so maybe it's only an issue with people who use Mac, not really sure, but it makes it really tough to multi table and makes me really just not want to even open the client. 12 tabling with even sized tables and easily being able to read all of them, then adding this huge party table that I can barely read the numbers is very annoying.

2) Any way to change the custom betting sizes? Would be nice to actually use that. Having 2x pot, 3x pot and 4x pot or whatever it is, is pretty ridiculous and embarrassing that those are even options. It's not 1995. We don't want to 4.5x it or 7x it preflop. If it's at all possible, please change it to something to where the sizes are actually somewhat close to relevant options. We want to 2.2x, 2.5x, 3x preflop and and then like 35%, 50%, all in post flop. Or something in that ball park.

3) The time bomb going off as your time is running out is really loud and excessive/annoying. I like the fact that you know it's your turn to act and you're running out of time, unlike 888, but it's too much.

I would be wayy more likely to want to play your site if these were fixed and I know a lot of people who feel the same way. Table size and being able to easily read the numbers is definitely the biggest issue but the others would also make the site way more playable.

So basically no tournaments or hands will be saved into the poker tracking software like poker tracker or holdem manager? Only the HUD will work??

exactly. if you look in missions tab right now you can see how the hand historys looks, its filterable and has both a visual and written text option. there will either be a third party text+hempt4 converter or a bovada grabber type thing to come out soon anyway

partypoker needs to improve the unbeatable structure of 10% rake for up to $100 buy-ins, but only four-minute levels. If it doesn't know how to improve them, then just copy PokerStars' popular Steps structures.

We are currently considering the next update to our steps page - Prauge may be an option but I cannot yet confirm

Yes these do run - however you are correct and they are infrequent.
We are reviewing our Steps structure - however its not top of our priority list right now.

I was about to register for the $25,000 Gtd Daily Major for $109, but noticed that the guarantee has been cut by 20% overnight to only $20K. Have any other guarantees gone down?

So gross that the Pokerfest MAIN EVENT is a $250 Re-entry with a paltry 300k guarantee.

I personally think it is very lame to make your MAIN EVENT a re-entry MTT. should be vanilla freezeout. and for gods sake if you are going to make it a RE-entry the guarantee should be more than just 50k more than the regular pokerfest sunday(250 250k re-entry).
