Noob alert, maybe next time ask support before jumping to conclusions. Filter set to 'inactive' shows it is still there, and on expiration will likely be converted to t$.

Following on from the amazing millions event, we are rolling out new structures starting from today.

We've worked really hard on them, collating feedback from regulars at ALL stakes. We realised that the high stakes tournaments were working really well, bt the lower stakes was a little too fast deeper into the tournament. At lower stakes generally there is a lot more players so it's less frequent to get to a final table, when you are there you should enjoy your experience and want to do it again. We've implemented a stricture that maintains a good average stack throughout the tournament.

We've added extra levels, we've shortened the clock at the start and increased it at the end. No more super big jumps between levels, just nice, hardly noticeable jumps that helps the tournament progress without pushing the action too much.

All tournaments will generally use the same structures but the higher stake games will have a longer clock.

We're looking forward to feedback and when necessary, happy to adjust the structures.

Next up is Powerfest, our biggest and best ever series, once completed we will amend the normal schedule to take out some canabalizing tournaments (some are already gone) and important add more games to lower stakes schedule and some new price points that allow the transition through stakes easier.

To me, it's important that every single player on the site has a realistic dream AND ROUTE to the $530s playing within bankroll management, that means an accessible low stakes schedule where they can learn their craft, a competitive kid stakes schedule where they can use their winnings from and then finally good high stakes tournaments where they can play against both the best players in the world and players attracted to the site through good marketing and promotions.

In the next few weeks we are hoping to also implement new improved software that will help the user experience a lot.

From May 22nd we will also have a new, improved, simplified VIP system that we are confident players will prefer.

We want players to feel like they can play pure poker on our site enjoyable. Which means

- good structures
- good guarantees
- good promotions
- good loyalty system
- good software

Be nice if The Big Brawl II would also have an increased gtd on Sundays.

We have now added phase tournaments with buy ins of $5.50, $22 and $109. We got a lot of feedback from players that they liked this format and whilst we are confident they will be great tournaments we will look to iterate and improve them, so feel free to give good feedback here and you will be listened to.

Having been part of the team who helped constructing the new structures, I look forward to hearing feedback. I haven't seen the definitive implementation either, but the way we proposed it is more or less the following:

Starting stage (First 2-3 hours)

- Kept it same/improved it a little bit for 0-55$
- Fastened it up a little in the 109+, in a way that the tournament running time (which is extended for +- all buy in levels by either a small or decent amount) doesn't take infinitely longer.

Middle stage/End stage

- Vastly improved it for all buy ins with respect to their buy-in level (so ofcourse micro's still have the least best structure, and highrollers the best)

So we really tried to keep the duration of the starting stages either the same, or speed it up a bit, allowing us to extend especially the endstage.

04-24-2017 , 03:36 PM
where are the new structures you guys are talking about?
04-24-2017 , 04:31 PM
Thanks for the changes but yeah no sign of these new structures at this stage in the client.

I like the option to buy-in directly into phase 2 for 10x the initial buy-in. Seems like a fair shortcut.

Rolling back some levels for phase 2 does give players lots more play early on instead of half the field stalling to reach itm.

Now just the implementation of the new structures

Amazing improvements Pads and PP team.

I was so happy with the millions success, PP really took a risk there and succeed. Everybody loves when that happens. Gratz Guys! EPT spot was taken by the good guys

Keep up the good work.

Post i saw on fb today https://www.facebook.com/groups/780P...1160883788435/ This true for the Montreal sats?

Cliffs - Party ran $55 sats to Montreal's $530 but changed the starting stack from 10k to 30k even though you carry your stack over.

So i started playing a few tournaments on partypoker and have few quick questions.

1. Are most tournament tables 8 handed? I had noticed that in a few tournaments i played in. If so, why is this?

2. I mostly play on pokerstars when playing tournaments. But would you guys say the low-mid stake structure is better or worst than pokerstars? Do these tournaments go faster or slower than pokerstars?

3. Why do almost all tournaments start with 30000 chips as oppose to say 3000 or 5000 or 10000 like on pokerstars etc? Do you guys prefer this as oppose to pokerstars starting chip stack? What confuses me a lot is if you are have that kind of stack, well it would seem you are much deeper in a tournament but then i noticed its very early etc. Do you guys get confused since if you have say 60000 chips on a pokerstars tournament, well thats decent but if you have 60000 chips on partypoker, well you basically just doubled up? Thus that would be like going from 3000 to 6000 or 5000 to 10000 chips on pokerstars.
