I would always choose 1 27inch over 2 24inch. However i have 2 24inch atm :P.. Best would be 1 30"inch and a 24 inch on the side for extra's. But thats a different budget.

yes. you can. but 12 is perfect on a 27inch. used to play on an imac 27inch. 20 tables is possible. but to small for my liking. 9 or 12 doesnt make much difference.

The biggest advantage is to play on a single screen that you dont need to move your head so much.

Re: ***Official Laptop/Monitor/Computer/Grinding Equipment Discussion Thread***

what about your eyes isn't dangerous to sit so close to such a big screen ? Btw im a laptop user so i guess i could use my laptop screen for the extras like the lobbies so my next question is can i use 2 diferent resolutions one for the monitor and one for the laptop screen since it can take only up to 1366X768 ?

I was hoping someone here might be able to help with a multi-monitor display. I'm building a new desktop and admittedly I'm getting a little carried away, but I've seen triple monitor displays that have a large middle monitor (27" maybe) with 2 smaller monitors flanking it (possibly rotated vertically). Essentially id use the middle one for grinding, one of the side ones for itunes/skype, and the other for tournaments I'm deep in or that need more attention. What sizes and resolutions will work for such a setup, or is it even possible? I'm sure I saw something like this on TV, and I want it . Thanks.

Big leap in price from 27" to 30", would it make much difference to someone grinding 8-12 tables?

Also is widescreen an advantage or annoying?

Re: ***Official Laptop/Monitor/Computer/Grinding Equipment Discussion Thread***

hey just using the link DoGGz posted http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/sto...52921644767499 was wondering which upgrades i should purchase...i use my laptop for poker, itunes and browsing the internet.

Also for in the meantime, my current Vaios internet connection isn't as strong as the other laptops in my house from the same location. Can somebody suggest a reason why?

Thanks
