Re: ***Official CABO BOYS Containment Thread***
Hey guys, I'm still looking for somewhere to move in by Feb 1. I need someone to say they've got me for sure, even if its just a couch or something, because otherwise I gotta find myself a 1 br or start shipping my stuff back to the US and getting myself a plane ticket. Thanks, and let me know if you can help.

Re: ***Official CABO BOYS Containment Thread***
i won't be withdrawing anymore with my us debit card, just gonna wait til for my mexican card to get here and in the meantime spend money where they accept debit. there are studios for $400/mo everything included near squid roe. i'll probably buy one of your chairs if they don't suck.
skater, you have to remember that one month of expenses won't help much because getting back up on stars is a tedious process and won't be playing for a while. the lady who manages our complex knows the process and got me set up with everything i need for a bank account and emailed me the documents to forward to stars so i was able to save a bunch of time. stars was supposed to call me yesterday but didn't and they were supposed to call today between 9 and 10; it's 10 now and i'm sitting in the lobby waiting for my phone call which doesn't appear to be coming. so basically you're going to sit idle for 1-2 weeks, lots of expenses in the form of cab rides, food, rent/deposit, putting 4000 pesos minimum in a Mexican bank account, electricity, phone, internet and that's just what you need to get stars to talk to you.
if you're hella busto i would go somewhere besides cabo. it's not terribly expensive compared to where i was living before but if you're starting from nothing rosarito is a better choice. staying home, cutting expenses to the bone and saving money is a better strategy than showing up here with enough to live for a month, being able to grind for two weeks and then either getting a loan from a backer to survive or going home.

Re: ***Official CABO BOYS Containment Thread***
There seems to be some confusion about the cash out process when living here in Mexico. I'd just like to clarify.
Made a Bancomer USD bank account. Hooked it up to my moneybookers. Pokerstars to Moneybookers to USD account .. all I had to pay was the $22 bank fee, nothing more.. no vigs.
Best way to do it for sure. GL

Not to mention you only need $100 USD to open an account.
