Make sure you guys check out Hacienda Cocina y Cantina. Went to Cabo a few months ago and had some really awesome meals there. And for bars, Squid Roe obv.
yeah its pretty hot on a daily basis, somewhere around mid october tho the temperature will drop 10-12 degrees and the humidity 20% and it'll be fantastic!
ricestud, i take every monday completely off (cant during coop, ughhh). we live next door to nick sans. pricey but def best place i've had so far, ATVs sound tight. happy endings either tmrw or friday if youre down, would be tight to go for ncaa opener on thursday for houston/tcu . fishing tournaments are huge, we live on marina so a lot of the owners of the places are coming back in oct/nov and kicking ppl out here. ive only gone out deepsea once, and im far from competitive, but def tons of fun
i think there are 25 of us in one apartment building. there are a few others scattered a few blocks away in different apartments. getty lives a bit away, and i assume a few others live in residential areas too.
it's a lot hotter than what it sounds like online cborders. humidity hasnt been bad at all but the direct heat is literally killer to a pale guy like myself. i would literally lobster over the first few times i went out, but finally not getting that way after about 6 weeks (hopefully). think ive shed 6 layers of skin or something, lost track!
elio, it's pretty slow tourist season down here right now , especially girl wise. you have to plan around the arrival of the cruise ships and weekends. by the time you get down here it's supposed to be a different scene though when the weather cools off a bit though. cabo is weird, reminds me a lot of vegas climate, except it's on the beach. places in town to go are basically squid roe and mandala next door depending on what the crowd is like.
to everyone in cabo, october 24th is the biggest party of the entire year. it's the annual pimps n' hoes ball , and this year it's taking place at el squid roe. the videos from last year look really insane, so mark it down on your calendars now. you can get tix now too because some promoter was hyping it up to me
has anyone checked out baja brewing company yet? it's the only microbrewery in cabo and is suppsoed to be really cool environment. would love to hit that up before wcoop as well if some people are down
