Sorry i'm fish in MTT-s and don't know how to calculate it - if someone is asking to be staked for 2 tournaments, 50-50 deal and staker gets buy-in back before splitting profits, what his ROI must be for it to be profitable deal for staker?

And how realistic is it to achieve this ROI in live €1,550 and €770 buy-in WPT Spain tournaments?

Somewhere around 90%. Only an elite player could hope to achieve that.

So when you are playing live, and the action is on you...you know it is on you but you are deciding whether to bet etc....and the dealer is tap tap tapping away at you like you don't know it is your turn....how do you guys normally handle this? It is very annoying to me.

He'd need a 100% ROI for the backer to break even on a one time 50/50 deal without makeup. Of course the backer isn't doing it just to break even and since there are two tournaments of different buy-ins/field sizes/field strengths finding the break even percentage with makeup is a little more difficult.
