Yeah, this is a huge problem. If you work in a hospital there's a lot of peer pressure to assume everyone is a drug seeking addict or crazy person until proven otherwise and it takes character to resist that attitude

I don't want to excuse the people who treated you poorly, but you have to understand, administration and DEA are constantly telling doctors that they prescribe too many narcotics, benzos etc. and encouraging medical professionals to judge patients as likely addicts / dealers and not give them anything. As a future doctor I think this is really stupid and have zero interest in being the arbiter of who gets to use drugs. I'm not sure if the attitude you've gotten at hospitals has to do with this but in my experience it usually is.

It wasn't me who was at the hospital, I was just a visitor, but 85% of the workers talked and treated me like I was a piece of trash and gave terrible attitude and 15% could really tell I was just trying to help and in a really terrible spot.

Just because some ****ing piece of trash thug is screaming out suck my dick lick my balls in the room next to me while being restrained, doesn't mean you can take that anger of dealing with that on patients just trying to help out. It blew my mind that the cops were more reasonable and friendly and treat people better than the ****ing ER Doctors. Insanity.

I'm a busto, I can't afford health insurance, so I just tough out my medical battles at home lol.

It seemed aware at the time that in the Marketplace if you don't know someone and regularly do business with them action is never booked until the money is exchanged. This protects BOTH parties from being freerolled.

Just spent some time reading that entire thread. I have no clue why you (MSauce) would link to it as if you did something right. Doubt you could come across any worse..

Doubt there's more than 5% of the forum that would even think I was deserving of $1 had he cashed for 100k and I showed up demanding payment for my piece without ever paying upfront or confirming that it was booked at anytime. Everyone would parade the "no money no action" argument all day along about dealing with people you haven't dealt with before and don't know personally.

Obviously I came off as a little douchey in the thread but only because it was taking up several days of my life to argue over $260 and it was infuriating. Anyone that knows me beyond one or two posts on twoplustwo knows that I would never freeroll anyone let alone over such a ridiculously pathetic sum of money.

When I take a loss I just forget about it, I'm sure its a lot harder to forget when you straight up **** people over. For you to even try to 1. defend yourself or your actions or 2. call me a liar, will get yourself into quite a predicament in the future. It means you aren't facing the reality of it all. So, I can comfortably say you may very well be an honest, upstanding guy (to people around you or whoever) but what you did to me AND OTHERS at the same ****ing time was so stupid, wrong and outright ****ed up. Radiohead was ****ing nuts. I'll get some pics up later. Seats were meh but I was there and got some live recording as well. It rained nearly the whole time and was freezing cold with a good amount of wind. I felt bad for Thom he seemed to be shaking harder than I was, Johnny fell down and no one even noticed because he was still playing on the ground, true sicko. It won't be an experience soon forgotten!

Show was over at midnight, didn't find a taxi until 2:15am. I got looked off TWICE by two taxis who slowed down enough to see I was an American stuck in a not-so-great neighborhood and they just took off on me! Amazing feeling. Its insane how many off-duty, presumably broke-ass taxi drivers were just driving around and not picking people up. I probably had like 20 empty taxis zoom past me while I was stuck on a cold, wet corner in Mexico City.

we were going to meet up during the events a few days before the main, but didn't end up doing it because of having my own tourneys/being sick/being busy. wouldn't say either of us were really going out of our way to meet up with the other. texted saying that it was booked and confirmed by other party. he left town after his events, and we didn't communicate/kinda didn't hear from him at all once main started until my cash, and after i sent the cash minus what he had owed me. he was a marketplace reg so i can only assume that should i have busted he would have paid, but with things happening like these 2 spots its difficult to be sure.

lesson to be learned to this is that i should have immediately shipped a pm/text over when we didn't meet up to secure how he'd be paying absent of live cash, like boa/paypal etc. then at least theres a meeting of the minds on if the action is booked or not and no ambiguity

thanks for well wishes everyone. dad didn't make it through the day. heart rhythm failed and is something unable to be restarted. he was artificially supported for long enough before we made the decision to make him comfortable and let him go. hardest process of my life, but everything happens for a reason good or bad.
