the break is a huge issue, u guys should actually ask ur players what they prefer, just send a email out there asking that like stars does

The 888 Rep. seems to think that rec. players are fine with the breaks the way they are. Does he think that rec. players only play at his site? Any rec. players who play at multiple sites are experiencing the same problems with unsynchronized breaks that the pros are.

Instead of clogging up the thread with your whining about the missing synchbreaks when they made it clear they won't change it, we should make more suggestions to improve the second best mtt schedule on the internet, dont you think?

If you're not willing to change the way sync breaks start, how about making them 6 minutes long instead, or even 5mins 30secs, just to be a bit more inline with other sites?

For one who has no major issue with breaks one way or another (I play MTTs for living) I also think that for most players this discussion about breaks are irrelevant. But I understand that 1- or 2-tabling recs would not like breaks to last like 7-8 mins as they would get bored.

And also as it has been brought up here, there are other sites which also use tournament breaks which end at :00. So changing 888 wouldn't change most of the time the fact that there's almost always some tournament starting at :00.

So I wouldn't care less about this discussion, so please stop whining as you got your answer and made your point.

Instead give us some of those turbo and hyper rebuys with like 3x add-on for European evening. And also some 5$-20$ NLO8 ones, too!

There should not be a problem at least asking the question and take it from there. especially when so so many of your players are having an issue. I dont think you are taking into account how bad it is having 3-5 mtts up at 888 and often have to sit out the first 1 or 2 hands. Please consider at least checking how many actually wants the change.
A simple popup when u open 888 where u can click your vote should be a great gesture to customers

fwiw during the 3-4 week period that occurred a month or so ago, i played alot of mtts i was disconnected lost equity in, i didnt ask for refunds cause was winning so thought whatever...

^that would of been 9-10th hu sng win in a row, pretty annoying, over the course of that 3 weeks i played prob 1k mtts/sngs, id like every possible refund thats fair.

It shouldnt have to be up to me to have to screenshot my screen every time your software ****s up.

For example, Numerous times i had 10+ tables of 888 up + stars (few tables going fine + all other internet working). I was playing almost every mtt u had from 1-$55 for 12 hours a day etc

My question is "why should it be my job to identify which tournaments i believe i was materially affected in"? I payed my rake, i got disconnected ****loads but didnt bitch cause was winning.

Blackmann cusses u asks for refund and gets it. Were other people in his mtt refunded too, or only those that asked. You kind of set a precedent, by refunding bm after his post, and realised you had opened a door for many people to ask for refunds.

Basically, i'd like every mtt/sng ive played in last 4 months to be reviewed for your technical issues, and be competsated fairly.

Obviously its complicated, most regs aware of the issue stopped playing on 888 in that period, i tried to ride it after transferring most of my volume from stars to 888

I will email 888 support, obviously i don't know the exact no of mtts or $ i lost due to your technical issues, the onest shouldn"t be on me to identify the mtts materially affected since

1)i payed rake on them
2)i can't define your software errors or tecnical issues

There was a case of massive disconnection with a few players who could not connect while all the others could, and since I was watching it live, I took initiative and helped one of the active players on this thread with what was a justified request. This was a unique case which maybe I should not have got involved in, since that is not something I plan to deal with here on a regular basis. Please contact support with any such personal request. We are considering the addition of a high stakes ($160 or $215) PLO tournament on Mondays. We have been adding many highstake tournaments lately and would like to take some time to examine their long term performance before continuing to add more. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays still seem to be pretty weak so I think we have chosen the correct days to start with. Regarding satellites, they don't seem to run very well when we run them more than 24 hours before tournaments.

We are considering changing the Whale to be a weekly tournament. Thoughts?

Obv the ppl itt will be happy to have the whale be a weekly thing, the question is do you want it to be a reggy smaller version or a highly anticipated super big version. I m sure the guarantee will have to drop if it s weekly.

Not in the near future as we do not have the 'Shootout' feature

I like the idea to have the Whale every week. Just look how popular the $600 Volcano is.

Also it doesnt matter too much if the GTD is 200 or 150k, don't think someone would skip it of that reason. It is more important to keep good guarantees in the "smaller" tourneys to keep them alive.

flagship weekly mtt would be good, maybe increase the guarantee, from 150k to 200k one sunday in the month, see how it goes for the first month?

If the whale was once a month - like I remember when it was first rolled out it was huge - I'd be way more likely to shot take it. If you make it an every-sunday tournament it's going to turn into a field where the rec players get torn to shreds by smaller and stronger field of top pros.

Just seems like it doesn't have the allure of being what it was if that's the case.

They have flagship weekly MTTs... The Mega Deep, The Volcano. What they won't have is a flagship monthly/quarterly MTT.
