I've noticed late reg is continually creeping up. 2 hour late reg tournaments are now over 2 hours.

I played a $5 tournament that started at 7.30pm and it was still reg'ing after 10pm! It's not even as if it was deep stacked after 2 hours+, there wasn't a lot of poker to be played, all ins everywhere.

Maybe upping the reg time to meet a guarantee is having the opposite effect and putting people off. It's certainly putting me off. I've already seen tournaments where the reg time has been increased a few times then finally removed from the schedule instead of dropping the guarantee.

Stars have been dropping the reg time, a lot of regular speed tourns are now 1hr 45min with turbos an hour or less, while you're increasing it.

I remember the days when there was no late reg at all and people were complaining when 15 minutes was added, I think Stars stopped anyone reg'ing after the first player was knocked out. Now we're looking at up to 3 hours!

Long reg times, unlimited re-entries, less then 8-9% paid as the re-entries don't get added to the payout structure. The fun is being sucked out of it.

the new table theme/layout, that im guessing came with the update, is really not to my liking at all..is there anyway to revert back to the old format or is there a skin site that is recommended for purchase?

ive seen pokerlayout .eu, but im hesitant to purchase from them strictly because its a russian site..although, ive read a few good comments that its safe, it would make my decision much easier if i could get another confirmation on its legitimacy..

The graphics for the new tables are in a folder named 'quick' in the pacificpoker folder. The solution in that link stops 888 using that folder and goes back to using the old ones.

...i literally just asked that like 2 posts before..but yeah ive read a few post from different people saying the sites fine..i ended up buying a theme and card deck..ran the two downloads on this "threat checker" i found and it said its all clean.

but with this new update i wasnt seeing the themes i bought so i was pissed..but with HardcoreGamer's link, i did those steps and now i can see the themes/cards i just bought...Fantastic!

I tried the new software but it didn't work out. Custom bet slider is good but too many negatives. Easiest ones to fix would be to remove the huge banner containing blind info which is just clutter, and make an attempt to align the stacks especially when the tables are small. Symmetry should be the buzzword.

My VPIP went down as I was looking for reasons not to play hands given the chore of navigating your new tables. That's unsustainable. Not unfixable and the issues seem mostly superficial but I will go with the revert. This is beta software.
