How about making the Sunday breeze a special edition with deep stacks. I d be happy to give up the idea of a daily iteration for another Sunday deepstack but one which is much bigger than the ds monsoon bc it's later

Hopefully you can improve the peak time schedule, and rather than just replacing tournaments, possibly add new ones, some mtt's do need replaced i agree but the peak time schedule is a little light imo.
If the peak schedule if light, look at the off-peak. If I wake up on weekends at 9am my time (New Zealand) theres almost nothing decent worth playing for hours at $11 and below level. During summer on 2 hour time swing I can play the dozen but not at the moment.

I'd like to see some 6max mtts which low gtds, just because I know how long those standard +9 player SNGs take to fill up. You can't run 45man on 888 but you can run a 50plr GTD game. Get some 1/2/3/5/7/12$ games going throughout the day. Reg/Turbo speed, rebuy and not. Get em.

Re: ****Official 888 2015 MTT Discussion Thread****

I like the new additions to the low stakes mtt schedules, good job 888.

I think you should grow the 5+rebuy from 17:00 CET, by increasing guarantee to 5k and give it a blue label. Call it "The Daily Piranha" or whatever else. I think everyone who plays the 8-8-8 that starts at the same time will play that one as well, so I am pretty sure you would hit the guarantee.

It would also help if you would put a banner when players login, to announce new tournaments that have been rolled out/changed. I feel like there is no promotion at all.

Thanks and keep it up!

Re: ****Official 888 2015 MTT Discussion Thread****

definitely label the two new tournaments as NEW so they stand out for a bit - both slightly overlayed. also like ac3play said a little notification to show changes would be good.

the new 8-8-8 tournament may need re-entries to juice up the prizepool like the other 8-8-8 tournaments

yeah, but still they performed well considering no promotion. I would rather the new 8-8-8 mtt only have 1 re-entry if that is possible, turning an $8 freezeout into a rebuy is too much imo.

I would actually like to see more 8 max in the schedule, they seem very popular. There should be a low stakes 8 max "major" at peak time, i would also like to see one of the low stakes deepstacks change from 9 handed to 8 handed. I think the knockout mtts could be better also, the $11 750gtd at 6pm uk time always crushes, increase the gtd and it will be popular.

Now having looked at the low stakes series, it would be nice if you could take some of the formats from the series and use in the daily schedule, like the 1r1a 2kgtd, this would be a good addition to the schedule, something we don't currently have.

I agree with the 1 re-entry but I'd rather take that of the gtd dropping and dropping if it did continue to overlay. Obviously I hope thats not the case.

Personally agree with the shift from 9 max to 8 max I think it allows for a much better playing experience. (Party have changed all tournaments to 8 max and MicroGaming offer majority 8 handed and 6 handed tournaments). However it could be argued the 8-8-8 tourneys at 4pm and 7pm are already 8 max "majors". I would too definitely like at least one of the $5 deepstacks to be 8 handed too, and one of the $22 deepstacks as well (the ones around 2-4pm UK time) just to add variety and excitement to the schedule.

Regarding the knockout tournaments I think the listed guarantees in the name need to be changed. For example the one at 6pm has 750 gtd in the title yet the prizepool is actually higher than that - they just exclude the knockout money in the guarantee. Im pretty sure no other poker sites do this. By changing it to the actual whole prize pool guarantee im sure the fact that people now realise the guarantee is bigger will attract more players - in turn growing the tournament. The 6pm one has a "$750 guarantee" but the actual prizepool is $1810. List it as it actually is and the tournament will grow massively.

Regarding other tournaments, the $12 6max-turbo $500 gtd has been slowly dying, which used to be highly popular and had around $1.5k gtd a year ago, This could be chosen as one of the tournaments to rebrand. As well as the $12 $1500 gtd tournaments at 4:45 and 5:15 which are indentical tournaments way too close to eachother. These would be good tournaments to switch up/ rebrand.

Sorry for long rambly post

Re: ****Official 888 2015 MTT Discussion Thread****

hello i want to say
in EET time 12.45 you had 5$ 8max tounrey 1k gtd rebrand it 8-8-8 and make it like 1.5k or same and it will grow up
also 12.30 in eet time where is 7$ 750$ gtd maybe you can change it in something branded like catfish and give 5k chips and 7$ 1k gtd
also in gap EET 9.30 (pacific catfish) and 11.30 12$ reentry 1k gtd where are no nonturbo mtt in gap 5-15$
and i if you you had now 3mtt 8-8-8 per day maybe you can fill slots with not so succseful mtts and change thems with 8-8-8 that all time zones can play it becose its nice

888rep can you change the 12:35 $30 $800 gtd turbo deep? replace it with the super KO tourney that you removed to make space for the deepstack monsoon? anything between $20-$55 would be good. Currently this tournament is so reggy, rarely hits guarantee/sometimes doesn't run and is v unexciting for both regs and recs.

Does anyone use the extra security code to log into their 888 acc?

Does it work well for you and whats the longest you have had to wait to log into your account?

Not too smart for people to.discuss their personal security measures for any poker site.

Fair point , mods if you could delete both our posts that would be great.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes usually for support to respond to emails?

Sent an email to support@888.com

Can anyone let me know if there is an email that will get back to me quicker? A security department for example?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This tournament has indeed been under performing and we have removed it. I'm not sure it needs a replacement as there is $30 6 max 45 minutes before, $15 deepstack 20 minutes before and $55 early monsoon 25 minutes later.

Re: ****Official 888 2015 MTT Discussion Thread****

I think a $20 super KO tourney would fit nicely in the schedule as there is literally no decent knockout offerings apart from the $11 one at 6pm.

Both regs and recs like these and it would certainly be a better tournament than what was available before. While there are other tournaments around it, most players want a high table count (personally I play around 12 tables at the same time) and this would definitely be a tournament I'd include in my schedule, where instead I skip the $55 Monsoon most days as it can be too reggy.

Please consider it!! there are literally very few good (super) knockout tournaments on 888, you can see how popular they are from your XL events. However like I said before the labelling of the tournaments do need adjusting as you are under selling the guarantee greatly!

Re: ****Official 888 2015 MTT Discussion Thread****

888rep please consider the recent suggestions, the schedule does have some good games but its also lacking a little at certain times. I have to say that 8 max mtt's are the nuts, it seems like they are the way forward, please consider adding a few more 8 max and/or changing some current 9 handed mtts to 8 max.

Hey Guys,
We have decided to revamp the format of The Sunday Challenge.
The changes include:
* Buy-in will be $109 instead of $90
* Re-entries instead of 1R
* 8 Max instead of full ring
* Improved blind structure
* Improved satellite structure
Guarantee will start at $50k since the last few weeks have been tough but we are confident this will grow.
Good luck and have fun!

I hate this unl rebuys and gtd set at 50k. Weak sauce!

Your current running satellites go $5 > $30 > $160 > $1050 (or something like that, I dont have client on cellphone to confirm.

It would work best to restructure your satellites or mtt buyins so they match and have multiple use for tickets. A majority of your tournaments are $5, $30, $55, $109, and $160.

There has got to be a way to get more people into these satellites and thus into MTTs so players arent faced with withering gtds.
