Villain is thebreeze77, who has a very respectable SS but is inexperienced at the $27s with only about 300 games played and is about break even at that level. I felt beat on the river and was just going to check call a smallish-medium bet when we got there, but felt $500 was a really strong bet and laid it down. I guess I should have bet the river to block a bluff, but took a small break from poker and I guess I'm rusty. Just looking for some other opinions. GL guys.

Interesting hand. After thinking about it a bit I think I like c/c the turn and folding river if he fires again (or bet river if he checks back), although that might be too nitty? I don't really know how this guy plays so its hard to say, I'm assuming he's a nitty 2+2 type who is going to raise you with a flopped set and fold most if not all worse aces to your raise PF.

Gah I must be bad cause I dunno wtf best line is here. Bet/betting only gets called by better so I def think that's out of the question. I think I might actually get tricky and check flop planning for 1 street of value on turn/riv. If we bet flop and check turn it's too easy to get exploited vs anyone half decent as our hand is suuuper faceup. Not that it isn't relatively faceup when if we check/call flop, but I think it keeps him guessing more and he's less likely to bluff if we take that line
