New PC and what to get?

Hi all,
I am looking to purchasing new desktop pc and wanted to ask you for some advices, or possibly what you use at the moment.
All I want from the desktop is 1TB HDD, ability to connect two BenQ 24" monitors (HDMI,VGA) for grind and thats pretty much it. I dont really play games. I do have the monitors, so I am after the PC only.
Unfortunatelly, I am fish when it comes to this so I have no idea what procesor, grafic card or other things to go for.
As far as budget goes, I didnt really think about that so I am open to all possibilities.

If you're running out of space, why not just buy an external HD and hook it up? Put all your storage stuff on that and all your programs on your internal and voila.
