Can a few winning MTT/MTSNG grinders post a graph of their net expected chips won vs chips won (over hand played or tournaments played)? I'd like to compare and see what a standard graph in chips for a 180 grinder or similar looks like. Any input on how to interpret such a graph is also welcome, or if you believe it is worthless and should be ignored, feel free to say so.

Thanks.

This is mine, and it just seems like such a weird graph:

the graph doesnt meant much at all, you need to run it in bb or bb/100

Care to elaborate? You realise yellow line= EV? I don't really understand how you would come to that remark from that graph.

Yeah, I've run it in bb/hands played too, I'm relatively close to EV there. I'd just like a tool to measure if I'm actually running as bad in late game spots (as opposed to early game, where you could lose ~40bb on a bad beat but it's not nearly as significant) as I think I am, and how much of it is confirmation bias.
That's why I'm really curious to see what other people's graphs look like.

again, the graph means close to nothing. worrying about how many chips under or above EV you are isn't really accomplishing anything. if you want an actual measure, analyse the BB graph, however it still doesnt show you much.

^This

+ If you're worried about your game, ask a friend to review your game and see what your leaks are and keep improving

Don't look at your graphs, just focus on learning and profits will come if you're doing a good job (graphs made me crazy in the past so I know what I'm talking about)

Graphs are the past , man.

Oh but I'm not trying to use the graph to analyse my game; although I'm sure I have leaks, I'm very confident in my game, especially at the low stakes I'm playing at the moment (I've got a pretty sexy bb graph too ^^). I'm just curious as to how bad I'm running in late-game spots as opposed to how bad I think I'm running overall in these spots. I realise it doesn't really accomplish anything. Call it a morbid desire to satisfy my entitlement tilt (one of my biggest leaks imo).

But thanks for the replies, I care a bit less now

only accurate eV graph/stats in HM2/PT4 is ell-in eV.
The other ones are just fancy pictures to fap over.
Although cash games eV graphs are quit close to reality compared to MTT graphs.

Running it in BB can be very instructive, particularly if you combine it with some other general reports you can run in PT wrt tendencies. If you're specifically interested in how you're running at important stages of tournaments you would be much better served filtering the BB graph for specific blind levels rather than using a Chips graph and trying to interpret that.
