I suppose so, but at least I got a few serious replies after this. :P

check the FT of the big multi entry mtts.
I have been skipping them recently but only because I felt like I was at a disadvantage when I took 1 entry vs other players' several entries. So I thought I wasn't playing them optimally.

and yes it def helps good players and/or competent shortstackers.
theres 2 basic strategies for multi-entry tourneys IMO...
A.) Late reg the tournament in the final few levels depending on structure where you will be joining as a sub 30bb shortstack....and play optimal shortstack strategy dont be afraid to re-steal jam a little lighter etc.
B.) Reg early and play very solid like it is a freezeout...and try to chip up earlier to be able to flip/withstand the deluge of shortstacks near the end of late registration. try to figure out which of your opponents are more willing to gamble because of the re-entry period. learn and understand the dynamics of shortstacks at the end of late reg period and adapt your strategy for each table.
Nice strategies, but you haven't actually said how many entries is optimal. If there is max 4 entries, do you take all 4? What if there is max 10 entries?
