Glad to see stars run a promo like this. Fields will be soft and it gives recreational players a chance at winning a massive prize. The buzz around this series likely will attract players that have gone busto and are on the fence about re-depositing. I wish there were a few more non-NL events but seeing that it's catering to recreationals I can understand this decision.

Edit: Is there a Player of the Series award? If so what's the prize?

More non turbos for aussies and kiwis at night our time. Im sure our share of the stars traffic justifies this. Also will they ever put on a $3.30 rebuy non turbo at night to suit aussie/kiwi rec players. Way too many turbos at night. add more non turbo events for us between 4-9pm AEDT

event 88- 5.50 plo (6-max/1r1a)

there is no turbo in the title of this event and the blinds are every 5min,

very misleading

Bryan, the 2+R FPP 3x-Turbo satellites to event 21 are showing up under the "Cash Satellites" tab instead of the "FPP Satellites" tab.

Aready 50k entrants for event 1 and it doesn't start for another 6 hours! The masses have come out for this series I guess. I think I'll give it a miss afterall. In fact, it might be the perfect time for a couple of weeks off.

Inb4 crashaments.

the lag in the 0.10 rebuy was awful. my table played 2 hands in the last 4 minutes of the rebuy period

same here.
I thought the general concept of this tourney was really cool (rebuy period only 20min), 6m and the funny stack sizing, however the lag was annyoing. especially since we kept being reminded every minute of the last 4 minutes how much time is left for rebuys. It felt like all went smooth before those message came. then we got only messages instead of cards. :-(

What happened with event 3? The main lobby dubs it as 'running' with over 40k players while the tournament lobby says it hasn't even started yet and seems to have frozen at roughly 12k players.

Rather start with like 150bbs than 250bbs and have a slower structure in the middle.

You play way too deep for the first 2 or so hours and then you can go from 40bbs to 10bbs within a few levels.

Should have used the same structure that is used for The Big series but have less chips. I had registered for a lot in advance but I think its more worthwhile to late reg.

I'm loving these tournaments. It's really nice to see some Australia friendly times for our Friday night and Saturday day.

The regular bigger weekly tourneys tend to start in the wee small hours of Sunday or Monday morning local time. I've missed far too many tournaments from sleeping through alarms in the middle of the night. Monday morning tourneys mean taking a sick day off for working folk when going deep.

I'm very impressed with the ability to download into the Google Calendar. This means I am getting notifications on my phone so I don't forget tournaments.

I hope this google calendar integration feature gets expanded so I can set up all of my regular tournies and future series like this one.

It's a really good series. Well done.
