Do people generally like the re-entries? Any interest in allowing more than 2 per tourney?

The fact that many, many events have had their guarantees smashed, several events have barely met their guarantees, and in the past day or so, several events have overlayed is just more conformation to me that Stars just doesn't understand their player base.

Also, some very poor planning as far as event scheduling, like butting two heads-up tournaments next to each other (events 60 and 61) but separated by many hours, essentially guaranteeing that no players will be in a position to play both events, despite HU tournaments being a niche player base. No surprise, they both overlayed.

No a fan of re-entries personally...Don't play them in my regular schedule (have them filtered out) and haven't played any in the current MM series.

I know of some poker sites who regularly set-up there higher guarantee tourneys (even at micro stakes) with multiple re-entries allowed eg: x4. I think these sites do this mostly due to being worried about overlays and therefore try to get players to invest more in these tourneys, so the less at risk the poker site is.

It's becoming a more common practice and it seems to work for them too. Probably because there are often many players who will have the mentality of taking more risks to chip-up, because they know they can just fire up another bullet if it doesn't work out for them.

Played only 20 events out of 90, because this MicroMillions is much worse than it used to be. Huge pile of PKO and re-entry tournaments and your hyper-turbo re-buys. 15 PKO, 21 re-buys, 28 re-entry events... If I want play reg speed MTT without knockouts/re-entry, there is only few. Just shame.

One thing about re-entries that's kind of troubling, is how they changed the structures of so many tourneys to make them more turbo-like - then added the re-entries to compensate for the loss of interest in playing them, to try and maintain the guarantees.

Probably most everybody would prefer to see structures improved than see re-entries increased, as a way to increase guarantees?

Thanks for the feedback everybody - really appreciate hearing your thoughts!!

Yeah, feel a bit the same way.

Used to look forward to this series previously but, i've only played a few events this time around and it just doesn't have the same appeal to me anymore, much like a lot of things on Stars these days...

This is my first MM and I've only played a few events but all I can say is that I feel incredibly underwhelmed.

cropped the image to high. Anyways: was playing 5K/10K Limit Holdem with a 30,321 chip average. Starting stack 5K and could register still with a 5K big blind. Lost 363 players in two hands after bubble burst.

might have to try & max late reg the 8-game hey, and still cash lol. See how going in the main. But have to agree with everyone else, very underwhelmed. Especially with the way the times of tourneys are, previous was good with biggest gap 4 hours, and most events 2 hours after the previous
