Guys, everything translated there is correct. I completely misjudged the issue thouse days, since I never been real online player or a member of an online community.

It was wrong and stupid. Took me 2 weeks to understand it and stop the project or any public defense of it.

If it is true he talked to Stars and decided it was a bad idea, I can see no fault for him. Has no one else here thought something was a good idea at the time but then quickly realized the flaw in your plan? Sounds like he's a pretty stand up guy based on his post.

this thread seems pretty pointless and not fair. For one thing, max does more for the online community now than almost anybody else i can think of. maybe he offered ghosting to people back in the day, but then again how common is ghosting when you think about it? Not saying it is okay but it is in a moral grey area. I really think mttcers shouldn't bite the hand that feeds them on this one

did you guys really expect clean money?

he obviously isn't doing this anymore and even if he did, he isn't good enough for it to be a concern anymore. I say we should just be happy he's putting a **** load of money back into the community and accept the fact that poker is full of scum bags who wouldn't hesitate to rip others off if they could. There really is no point in ostracizing him imo.

I don't think this will change much. When you already have all of the money or a super high rep 2+2er with a baller live deal you can call him out. As for the more busto faction which is a huge majority it is different. If Tony Soprano wants all of my WSOP action and will pay cash in Vegas it is tough to turn that down unless I get whacked if I brick
