I was kinda waiting for Timex to say something like "I'm not crazy or anything. I know I may sound a little crazy, but I'm not... I'm perfectly normal. Just trying to make it out here, just like you" a la Kramer from the Seinfeld episode in LA where he approaches Fred Savagae in a cafe with his script.

Regardless, awesome post.

This has been a good thread.
Steve you may or not remember this, but here is a PM you sent me right before you became Robusto! (from 11/25/05)
Don't know why I still have it, but it's cool.

Re: Stars Bahamas Trip

From: stevepa

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm really looking forward to this, so I'd like to get everything in order...As you may have guessed this is the first trip I've won (and the first WPT/WSOP tournament I've played).

My name's Steve, I'm from Ontario, Canada. I've been playing for about 2 years now (I'm 22). I mostly play limit cash games and some tournaments on the side.

Anyways, thanks again. Hopefully I'll see you at the cocktail party.

Steve

Stars Bahamas Trip

From: stevepa

Hey,

I know you won your trip in the same tournament I did and I was wondering if you've heard from stars yet about registration. They said within 5 days, but I haven't heard anything. I emailed them once but still no reply...

Thanks,

Steve

I wish I still had the PM timex sent me last year, prior to the MTT draft thingy.

Basically it was him laying out why I need to pick him for the draft, and he he swore to playing a lot of tournaments and all that.

Also, he told me he was a 45 year old computer tech guy.

In grade 10, our school had a casino night and it was possibly my favorite school event to date(I didn't win any prizes, but it was very fun).

the school has since unfortunately discontinued casino night because they realized it promoted [underage] gambling

I've had a ton of PMs asking me to return the favor, but I'm not as nice or desperate for friends(the PM may suggest otherwise though) as Steve
