I'm not saying it's acceptable, I just don't get offended by it. It's still just a word written on the interwebz, regardless of it's meaning. And the argument about being surprised at the outrage regarding the use of '******' because the poker community is "in tune" with hip-hop culture is totally f***ing ridiculous. It's one thing Jay-z using '******' in a track and another thing entirely that an openly gay, (supposedly) fiercely liberal poker player uses it with such venom at another player. In fact, it's completely cringe-worthy when anyone white/w.e. uses the word. Richard Pryor did a sketch on it as I remember and he'd know. Yeah I mean, I don't know him or anything. Seems there's a great deal more to this than I know about. I'm don't personally find it offensive at all but it seems I'm the minority .
