Youngish dude across the table from me goes something like "Heh, she just said arrrin" and I completely lose it, old dude tanks for some more and eventually calls with AQ, Q on river.
hah that's a pretty good one...

My best is playing the 25/50/100 PLO game this summer at the Rio and I think I was having a breakeven session or maybe losing a bit when the two empty seats at the table get picked up by Clonie Gowen and Layne Flack, respectively. Clearly, this was good news; however, instead of putting on my headphones and zoning I just started to laugh like an idiot. It was absurd; I've never laughed this hard without another person also laughing next to me in my entire life I don't think.. Fwiw, Flack obviously wins a 60k pot off me by hitting a 3-outter, slams the cards down on the table and calls me an a**hole while scooping.. I wasn't laughing then..

I have experienced this as well, except that after i became a weekly/daily consumer I learned that in order to consume you need to learn how to handle everyday life while being under influence. Most of my other banana-eating friends have achieved this ability as well, so I figure it's just a matter of practice.

I'm sad to hear. The health aspect is a major setback for bananas. This is the most significant reason to stop/not start eating bananas raw IMO. Luckily there are ways to cook bananas so that they become a lot healthier...

But yeah, when smoking potwhile playing poker I saw some benefits and also some disadvantages. I used to have some pool hustling buddies who were big stoners and pot seems to help more with that game in terms of nerves and concentration. For me, pot made me make at leas tone huge spewy play a niht at poker so quitting was +EV. I can definitely believe how some oeple miht benefit, however, but the stuff is pretty addictive and my health/sanity is worth more than money.

IMHO
It's not very addicitve. I have at least one period of three months or more per year where I don't touch bananas. These are usually when I feel tired with concentration difficulties after eating too much bananas for a while. Also, to avoid the psychological addition, get other hobbies and maintain friends.

Re: ITT we talk about bananas

on the adderall topic, i think a vast majority of ppl who are prescribed medication for ADD DONT have it, im not denying its a serious illness if u do have it, and there are a very small percentage of ppl in whom it is real

but almost all the ppl who are like "oh yea i was bored in school and im slightly above average intelligence"...guess WAT...u dont have any form of ADD....lol...and taking these drugs when theyre not prescribed to u or SHOULDNT be prescribed to u...is just a bad idea

and this is drawing from my experience of having SEVERAL of my friends tell me "oh u should get adderall, i have it and its great" when ive known them and they definitely dont NEED to take it, they just take it to get ahead, get more done, curb appetite, or whatever...the problem with this is amphetamines just end up burning u out

it does synergize great w/ bananas though

I mean, I guess if you have nothing else to take... concerta is horrible for me, idk how anyone likes it...maybe it's just me though. I'd rather be taking percs vikes or zans any day over adderall or concerta, hell i remember i had bottles of concerta and couldn't even sell them in hs besides when kids needed it for sats.

I also have a great deal of hate for those meds, I'm pretty straight edge when it comes to drugs besides bananas, i think bananas is the cure of the world put here by God himself. All jokes aside though, I think pharmeucticals are terrible, and if my kid ever had adhd/add or w/e, i wouldn't even think of putting him on any of that shyt. I think the only reason i was prescribed that stuff was because I was a little punk rebel in class, and didn't give a shyt about authority or my grades. Then i took that concerta stuff, and i would stare at the teacher for hours, even during recess and lunch times, and i never really felt like talking, was the total opposite of who i really was.

Edit: I also probably have adhd, very likely since i was prescribed at such a young age unlike most of you. Also, the teacher who insisted something was wrong with me, dropped dead.

Re: ITT we talk about bananas

it is shwag, but i got a half for $40, so i can't really complain..plus i can push this if i wanted to for triple that, maybe even more since i have a few dumb neighbors.

my whole neighborhood is dry, been like 4 days, so i just gave up and got what i could, last resort really, and i'm actually pretty lifted right now, i had a little bud of some middies i threw in with the shwag, and it wasn't so bad.

I haven't had camels in a while, but turkish golds are pretty good, i've never really smoked camels like that though.

you live in Dallas?

that sounds a lot like me!!!, being antisocial while using bananas to play tons of poker.

i get really nervous when i get high (all day every day ) so i would not be able to play poker at all "in the dark" without 2p2 as my guiding resource. it would feel like i was a degenerate or something .

so ty to those people who post strategy.

i dont want to go out of bounds like gobbo said but a half for $40 of regs is so standard in FL, but where i live now in PA **** is so overpriced and its worse quality so that has to do with me smoking more cigs and less bananas

Re: ITT we talk about bananas

Random story.

Earlier this month a buddy of mine (roommate at the time) supplied me with like... a whole perscribtions worth of conserta.

I probably took ~40 of them in a 55 hour span.

I was up for 55 hours; playing MTTs for 55 hours.

I had a profitable session.

Trust me.

Also, I have pretty sick ADHD and have a hard time concentrating while only plying 1-4 tables... so when I eat bananas or take aderaol/etc I can concentrate and thus dont' spew.
bananas definitely get the heart rate up there too for those marathon sessions.

Re: ITT we talk about bananas

The last time I tried to mix bananas and poker I ate way too many and ended up sitting in a chair in the VIP room of the casino for about 3 hours pretty much unable to move while I tried not to be so high.
