i find myself in the same position as randall a lot, and it's really ****ty when you're just sitting around the apartment for 10 hours grinding out sessions and you're a chronic user (oooh double meaning). i peel pretty much constantly while at school, but when i come back to my parents' place i stop or at least try and tone it down.

i know some people say they don't go thru withdrawals and it's easy to stop blah blah blah, but those people i'm assuming don't peel on the same levels as people like me and randall and oktime, so for you guys, my question is - do you have problems stopping? i think the longest i've stopped for over the past couple years is MAYBE 10 days, but i have a lot of graduate school auditions coming up (i'm a trombone performance major, ldo smoking is a good idea), and i've got 2 months of hell on my doorstep and i'm planning on quitting until at least march. i don't smoke cigs, but every once in a while when i don't have any naners i find myself craving some sort of smoke - it's more an oral fixation type thing i think, besides the fact that i enjoy the actual act of toking and it's part of the pleasure for me - it's a nice release imo. it's like once you feel that smoke you're gonna be set. i feel i've got a pretty addictive personality, too, so what are you planning on doing to help you quit?

obv gonna be a lil sick to stomach and or not hungry for couple days without bananas if you havent taken too many solid breaks. but the more times you take off the less it sucks

I can't really relate to any of this at all, and I've peeled many a banana. Whenever I'm visiting family or just out of bananas it's not a problem for me at all. Like when I come home after visiting the folks for a few weeks it's more like a nonchalant "Sweet I can peel again" opposed to "OH GOD YES FINALLY PEEL THEM ASAP"

if u smoke everyday quitting can be difficult, but its worth it.

I'm more on the "GOD YES FINALLY PEEL THEM ASAP" side

i crave it after a while without peeling for sure, don't really plan on quitting soon, at least not while i play mtt's everyday.

Okay I really am going to try my best to not inhale majiuana in some form for at least this year. If I make it that far I will probably not find the need to touch it again but who knows. If people wanted to discuss odds, or amounts to prop bet, I'm a pretty well respected person and would expect most anyone to trust me to not grim people on a forum. I would like to prop bet to motivate me to not do it more.
12-30-2008 , 06:29 AM
randall I'll propbet you as long as you also must drink a case of juice everyday instead of smoking.

Okay Shaun and I are making a no smoking last longer bet for 1k. If by January 1st, 2010, neither of us has smoked, we will call the bet a push. We will be using the honor system. GL Deeb.

i don't believe that bet is booked, feels like someones going to lose in jan. either way gl fellas.

If you smoked a lot of high potency stuff for a long time daily there are def withdrawals for most people. Screwed up sleep, night sweats, nightmares, aches/pains, depression, anxiety, loss of appetite, abdominal cramping, even panic attacks for some. And cravings obv as well. Takes as much as a month for this to abate for heavy users.

Daily exercise really helps. Doesn't have to be hardcore, a half hour brisk walk is plenty.

Not everyone gets addicted, same thing with alcohol. Count yourself lucky in that regard.

I've tried banana's twice for the first time this past semester, didn't really get high either time, first time I fell asleep almost immediately while my friends watched Howls Moving Castle, the next it burned in my chest but not much more, maybe its because I was intoxicated both times.

I have a like/hatehatehate relationship with anime in general, I used to like a few things and watch some here and there, then I lived with 3 people in a 1 bedroom campus apt who LOVED anime and watched it basically non-stop because they never left the room..so now basically despise it.

But watching it, I do see if youre on banana's and actually getting an effect (thats not passing out in 10 minutes) it could be awesome.

This might explain a lot, a possible link between recall enhancement & bananas:

Update that neither me or Shaun have smoked yet though when I was wasted one night I was close to flipping someone for $1k.

I love bananas and lol at "freaking out". I prefer to play while peeling. I don't know if it is +ev but its def not -ev imo.
