Hi guys,

I want to look at my bb/100 and would like to hear from the more experienced players how to go about it. I think I have read once that you have to filter some variables out like hands in the begging of the tournament but I cant quite remember.

It's as simple as just looking in holdem manager or poker tracker. Some players filter out hands that are in the early stage of a MTT by filtering for hands when the big blind is 100t chips or more. It's not necessary though and you wont learn much from observing the bb/100.

Filter out ante up tournaments. If you play 109s but also play some big field 22s on sunday it might make sense to filter out the lower buyins where you're gifted 200bbs much more frequently. Just think about what info you want and go from there.

You can also add a filter for certain BB levels to see how you are doing later in tournament off 10-20-30bb stacks vs the 100bb starts since those chips are worth a lot more
