I started playing a lot of MTT's on Full Tilt about a year to year and half before Black Friday, and before it got shut down I started consistently started making deep runs. I mostly played low stakes and would multi table 6-10 tables.

Since black friday I've only played cash games mostly 2/5 NL and some 5/10NL. I can beat the 2/5 game pretty consistently, and starting to feel more comfortable in the 5/10 game.

That being said I started playing more PLO, and then after a small heater thought I was ready to play in games way over my head and bankroll. Needless to say we all know what happened.

Im currently taking a little break from playing and regrouping my bankroll. I will return back to 2/5 and leave the 5/10 and PLO alone for a while. So rather than take shots at those games I am looking at investing more into MTTs.

I played a 1K event recently, and was absolutely floored at how atrocious the overall field was. This has me motivated to get back into MTTs. Will be playing tourneys in the 300-1500 buy-in range.

Any advice or suggestions on study materials would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the bankroll for that MTT range, you should be having a full package at Runitonce if you don't want to get a coach.
