i had no idea about them and i live in a house with 3 poker players in LV and our circle of friends contains a venetian floor. i played all the wynn classic horse/o8 events and those all got 100+ runners on weekdays. i looked at one of the original schedules and then didn't think about it further.

if Venetian had advertised the full schedule from the onset with nl at noon and mixed at 4pm each day, the turnout would have been fine.

i sat next to a mexican guy in the plo rebuy who had no idea how to play omaha or speak english. the tournament director had to get a translator to explain the rules to him. of course, i was moved to scott's table before the 2nd orbit. fml.
