Got very confused when there was a sudden 24hour limit to get teams in...

This is a great idea and seems like a lot of work. Using GPI seems fair and lessens the work load. Hook me up for the Skype coaching call if you start one.

Sorry guys - maybe should've started new thread but thought it might be useful to have the points system & stuff laid out for any newcomers. Good to see some interest though, hopefully I can pip you this time around travis!

@dadicedada - Its pretty simple using GPI actually. I'm happy to take responsibility for logging scores & posting updates again. Though I think a more well-known 2+2er will prob have to handle the money (I don't post or play that much at the moment, finishing my studies first).
Don't know why we'd need "skype coaching call" for this??

lfg!!! thanks for reviving this.

Let's get this bigger and better.

I will lay out the plan tomorrow, plan on it being juicy and fix problems we had last year (like teams too similar, and other small things)

I will get us a trusted escrow. Buy-in will be $100 again, which seemed to work regardless of field size

You still working on this?

Re: teams too similar, how about trying a draft process (whereby once a player is picked, he/she can't be picked for another team)? Think I'd prefer that to ascribing values to players & budget per team, if only to differentiate from the pokercast version (tho I'll prob enter that one too).
