Sorry been doing a bit of youth work of late so not spending as much time on the forums. In terms of the best steak in Melbourne a lot of it will depend on what you like in a steak. 2 of my favourite places to go for a steak are Squires loft where you will get a grass fed fillet 6* caab Angus that can almost be cut with a fork it is that tender or you can head across to the meat and wine co. for a 6* grain fed Japanese ox black Angus 500 gram rib eye with side chips that are to die for. While these are both good options the best option has to be the sort of BBQ that is only put on for my daughters birthday or a grand final win that sees my dad and I bring out the old metal aprons, mesh gloves, our home made sausage machine and carve up a few sides of beef with our choice of beef being kangaroo island grass feed 6* beef with a marble score between 2-3 which gives you just enough fat through the meat with out it taken over. On these days we like to serve up 800gram rib eyes along with a honey soy lamb spare ribs(undervalued cut of meat) that is so tender that it drips of the bone along with a couple of rosemary and garlic beef and pork mince sausages and washed down with a couple of dozen James squires pale ale. What truly makes a great steak is the people you enjoy it with and while its nice and all to go to a fancy place noing beats being in the backyard with ya dad who is stuck in the 70s (probably still coming down from acid) carving up a side of beef for your family and friends to enjoy

People are more then welcome to troll me whenever they wish as long as they dont be offensive about my little girl or family. I was the biggest troll on this site for a very long time and now that im more relaxed then I use to I can't expect to not be targeted by other trolls.
