So I was playing in a $5 9player SNG and we were down to 6 players with 50-100 blinds. UTG player raises to 300t and UTG+1 calls. Its folded to me in the BB with KTo and 1050t left after posting. My question is when trying to decide whether to push or fold what are you suppose to do with the blinds and chips that are already in the middle when trying to do ICM calcuations? There are 13500 chips in the tourney but if I were to just put in the stack sizes of the remaining players after these players have put money in the middle then the total chip count would not equal 13500 and I wonder if that would skew my EV. But the chips in the middle are no longer a part of anyone's stack.

Well when deciding to 3-bet shove 10bb deep 6 handed vs an UTG open of 3x, usually KTo is not good enough to shove.

Overall though you should be figuring out his raising range and then his calling range once you push. Basically if he is raising super wide here and calling super tight, it may be a push

It may depend on the icm program what happens if you fold. For example you could argue both guys are allin for the pot, or that they split the pot based on their equity in the hand. Neither is accurate, there is no great answer to calculate this.

oh okay, thank you. It was bothering me that I couldn't figure out how the chips in the middle would factor in, but I guess theres nothing I could do for the calculations.

and dochrohan I saw him fold to big bets earlier and also saw him call all in with J7s. I guess I figured I had a little steal equity but more so that these cards were good against his range so even if he called I would be ahead. But looking back I think I should be more concerned with my steal equity than anything when looking to push.
