THIS THIS THIS

I feel like a lot of us plan on making a couple trips to Europe but not to play every event and if we just see an event with say 2 good prelims, we have no idea how to evaluate how good of a trip that is since the later trips might all have 0 good prelims, or they may all have 5 or more good prelims

Re: Dates and places of 2nd half EPT season

Hi All,

Couple of replies to your questions...

Mrtimcaum / Timex - For the prelims for EPT's lots of times it is not up to us when they get announced. I have basically built the schedules for Deauville, San Remo, Snofest, Monte Carlo already. But they all need gaming board approval, casino approval, etc... So it isn't always us who is causing the hold up in releasing the side events.

However, what you have seen in Prague, Portugal and Kyiv is a good indicator of what you will see at most EPT's. 1K, 2K, 1500, some PLO (where legal), a couple of Turbos, things like that. Plus I am always asking for feedback from the players about what does and does not work. I am not sure if the Shootouts on the last day are working and I think we will try a €300 Turbo on the last day in Deauville instead of a Shootout.

Panny1 - We had to cap Snofest at 500 players because there is only room for 25 tables in the Venue. We will be starting the tourney late in the day though to allow for skiing in the mornings

MSUCougar - Sats for the EPT Events generally start 6 weeks before the event begins. So Snofest sats probably won't start until early February (not 100% on this, I will try and find out with Bryan though).

I'm glad everyone is excited for the second half of the EPT! I think it will be the best yet and EPT Germany is shaping up very nicely too, I think you will all be happy with that one!

Cheers from Vilamoura,

did you consider adding more qualifiers to snowfest seeing as it is really popular or are you worried you might max out too soon?

Hi Tozzy,

Bryan is the Mad Genius of the qualifiers, so I will see if he knows. I personally think Snofest is going to max out. The buzz about the event is massive and it seems to set up as the beginning of a monster month of poker in Europe.

You can chain together EPT Snofest, Irish Open, EPT San Remo and then EPT Monte Carlo and hang out in Europe from the 20th of March until May 2nd or 3rd.

Cheers,

Re: Dates and places of 2nd half EPT season

Concerning the EPT Snowfest i've got several questions n i hope u can give me some answers:

- How much will be the directly buy-in in $ on ps for the full package(incl. hotel, skiticket a.s.o.)?

- How many tickets are available on PS? (both buyins- Ticketonly and Fullpackage)? Guess for the Full package max 82-cause the alpine palace don't have more rooms than that

- Satellites will start online in early Feb right? Guess there will be only sat n direct buyins for the Mainevent or?

-Any other chance or place where i can make buy in before 20th of March10 and not online via PS for the ME?

- About which time the full schedule will come out?

- Guess on the 20th of March there will be a satty for the ME in the Alpine Palace? Anyone knows if there r any other Live sattys in Austria,Germany or Switzerland?

- Cap is 500. So far what i heard and read in the internet this Event will be sold out very quick. Will be there 2 1st days or only one? Cause i read on hp from the card casino they can offer up to 50-60 tables for a tournament so i ask my self if it would make sense to play 2 1st days so cap could be up too 900. Guess many players like the chances to play an EPT Event which has an "cheap" buy in compared to the other EPT event's plus having skiholidays at the same time.

- Find the strucutre one the EPT HP what i really like. But can one of u gonna tell me how many levels will be played every day?

I know it's quite early for all those questions but 1stly im gonna be really excited cause this will be my 1st EPT Event and 2ndly i have to check my holiday days with my compnay.

So i would be glad if i got some infos from ya.

Cheers, Pheeew

Random request to start qualifiers early (like you do with PCA) since, coordinating travel with your life especially with a significant other usually takes some prep time.

Re: Dates and places of 2nd half EPT season

Anyone knows if i buy in directly for an ept event(money sending via bank transfer to PS) and playin the LIVE satellite one day before the MAin Event and get a ticket-Can i cash out this ticket cause i'm already registered??!!
Same for Online satty @PS for EPT. For example i play SnG Steps 2,100$ or 530€/$ satellite and win a ticket. Could i cash out in both of those tourneys??
Because i want to qualify for the EPT Snowfest-but if i would win before any ticket for Copenhagen or Berlin i would cash out those money for making registry EPT Snowfest. Ist that possible??

Thx for ya answers.

Best Regards, Chris

Re: Dates and places of 2nd half EPT season

Seems this thread gettin tired.
Anyway the Schedule for EPT Snowfest is up (EPT Berlin isn't so far)
There will be played 8 diff. tourneys. >>> http://www.europeanpokertour.com/tournaments/snowfest/
So far what i know and heard - the buy-in(3,75K €) for the ME is that "cheap" because this event WILL NOT be recorded for TV. There won't be a High Roller Event too @Snowfest.
If you r in Feb./March in Austria- the ConcordCardCasino will offer satellites for EPT Snowfest and Berlin. There r gtd. Prizepackages 7k/5k -Buy in 100€-unl. Rebuys 50-Addon 50. Check out the dates>>>>> http://ccc.co.at/content/view/1863/89/lang,de/
If u know any other sattys online or live for Snowfest pls. let me know.

Cheers,Chris
