Hey all,

Its been almost 7 months since we lost Chad aka LilHoldem954. One of the best to ever play the game. He was truly a prodigy when it came to poker and what better way to celebrate his life than all getting together around our computers and watching a replay of him winning a $322 FTOPS event.

I was lucky enough to learn from Chad and he did many things to help me become a better player. The biggest gift he ever passed on to me was giving me a few HH's of some of his big online tournament wins. An FTOPS $322, Stars $109 win, Tilt $1050 win, etc.....Watching these can make an average player better overnight and help plug a lot of leaks...

Anyway, I thought it would be a great way to honor him by offering to replay his FTOPS win over twitch for anyone who wants to join in. I think it would be a lot of fun to replay the tournament win from start to finish, while being able to view his hole cards the entire time, and gain some insight into just how good he really was. At the same time it will be fun for the whole online community to come together and tell their stories and memories about their experiences with Chad at the tables. You either loved Chad or hated Chad, but either way you couldn't deny the savant like talent he possessed.

on April 20th 2016 at 7pm I will be replaying his $322 FTOPS win over twitch for anyone who wants to view it.

I was hoping if anyone had a direct line to Jason Sommerville or anyone else with a large Twitch following if they could put me in touch with them to see if they would be willing to replay it on their channel! If anyone has any contact to any of these guys send me a PM and let me know if I can get in touch with them. If not, I will play it on my own channel.

Also feel free to post any ideas on how to make this the best experience possible. Ive gotten a lot of PMs about following through with this when I mentioned it a few days after he passed.

This one I found interesting because I feel it is a huge leak in a lot of beginning players game. Defending to much from the BB, especially with weak to even mid aces.....I've always said the biggest take away from these complete HHs is being able to see what he is folding in spots rather than what he is calling, or raising in certain spots. It can really help you tighten up your game and avoid marginal spots. Tournaments are just too long and high variance, and every little mistake you can make adds up to the difference of being a good player vs a great player.

This hand I found interesting because it reminded me of how good he was at reading board textures. He just always seemed to know where he was at in every hand he played, and was a master of using his stack size relative to the Blinds compared to anyone he was in a hand with and was also really good at adjusting his bet sizing compared to opponents stack sizes as well.

Last but not least, I choose this hand because again it's a great example of him making a solid preflop read based on his opponents stack size relative to the blinds as well as Chads own stack size. Also Im sure he had already told himself when he decided to 3 bet 10s, in this spot that he was snap calling a 4 bet shove and thats exactly what he did. Again sorry to beat a dead horse, but we can all go into analyzing the hand and talking about them in much better detail when I do the viewing, but just wanted to offer a few notes with each hand I post.

I do think your inkling that people defend the big blind to much, especially when looking at a 2010 hand history, is not accurate.

I'll be playing that day but I will mention it once an hour to make sure people know.

I was made aware of a scheduling conflict when I read this article that was posted about the viewing and a lot of players said it would be a good idea to switch dates....

So due to the fact that Pokerstars is holding their $10,000,000 Sunday Million promo on the 20th of March (Same day I scheduled to replay Chads FTOPS win over Twitch) I've received multiple requests to change the day of the viewing to give the grinders a chance to focus on one of the biggest tournaments of the year, instead of being distracted. Both for their sake and mine, as I feel it will be important to have people watching engaged, so we can have some good heated discussions on Chads style of play, as well as talk about the stories we remember about him.

I've been told to schedule it one week later, but the reason I picked the 20th, was because he passed on August 20th 2015, and I wanted to do it on a date that would be significant relating to his passing (8 Months to the day) It is not crucial, but I thought it would be a nice little touch. Especially for his family who I've spoken with at length about this. So with that said the new date that I will be airing Chads FTOPS win on twitch will be.....
