20K with abi 140 after my bug cash and had some 10k when abi was 30 in the days where i was masstabling and played way worse

i've been playing around with RVG's ROI Simulator a lot lately, for people looking to get a feel for variance i think it's really interesting. possibly depressing. his website is down and i couldnt find a download link, but if anyone wants it: http://www.mediafire.com/?p81g240axlqcsg7 that should work.

edit: takes a little bit of work to rig it for bigger mtts, for a sunday million neutral player:

1 255281 .0115 #This is first place payouts

At what point do we stop calling it a downswing and start calling it losing? I'm more inclined to say I've lost $10k since my last big score, than to just say I'm downswinging. Assigning all your losses to variance seems too easy, I'd rather just accept that a good % of it is down to me doing stuff wrong.

this; i realize im terrible at normal speed mtts (and def rlly bad wen im 20+ tabling 180s with them) so i quit playing them except rare MTT only seshes on sundays

We make mistakes when we are winning too. One of the reasons downswings are good for you is they make you really examine your game and analyze if adjustments need to be made.

Also, the increased pace of 36/180s now that they are in the main lobby will increase downswing size for SNG regs. I'm already down almost 4k in 36/180s this month, and will soon have to quit playing them if I don't recover. One of those rare months where i made a little bit at scheduled MTTs but am getting crushed at SNG more than I ever have before.

The 1st.. cleared MU at wsop 122k for 5th in 3k then won FTP 1k and UB 1k in 2 weeks for 92k and 60k
