I cashed in one 4/180 out of 50 once, and it was a mincash... and my ROI in those was very high over the whole sample including the downswing. I also had a 1k downswing in 20/180s.

Downswing -50K+ in $100-$500 online and $1K-$10K live - been down over $50K twice and have made it up twice (staked with makeup). A for upswings I guess my upswings have been in the +130K range. Bigger than the downswings.

i dont really count how much im winning or losing usually, but the one time i really noticed a downswing because i had to actually find ways to get money back online ended up being around -70k with ABI $200ish, so i guess 350 buyins, although obviously that included bricking a million 1k 500 200r and 150rs in a row so overall ABI probably lies and maybe it was only like 150-200 buyins, i dunno

one of the nice things about not being backed is just not counting. i play until i notice i have too much money online and then i take some out and keep playing. i dont really sweat it i just pretend it's a video game and keep grinding.

i hit 145 buy ins once and then i won 4 in a day at the 180s..i think lipofund has a similar story

i disagree. this actually makes me feel a little better about my downswings knowing that it is part of mtt's. there are a lot of successful mtt players reporting huge swings, but still continue and play there best game possible.

Big +1 CJ. Lets face it some of the players posting itt are the ones I respect the most, and also the ones have the biggest downswings.
